Does any body here know a good website where I can free translations from Englis to German.

I don't know if that thing is a good translator or not.

Thanks I usually use a school library dictionary but my high school has none.
I found a translator on about.com after I googled it.

Whole reason I wanted to know is because im doing a German scientist thing in my General Science class and the teacher said I would get extra credit if I actually spoke it in German. But I dont think the class will understand me though (bunch o' retards). And Forsaken I gotta rember that one but Sex Dog in German GeslectinVeir Hundin.

Jungfrau is the german word for virgin, "Guudentite" is not even a word.

Also, I know that there is a plugin for firefox that is a german translator. I don't know what dictionary it queries though.

Jungfrau....Does that really mean virgin? Literally translated its "young woman". I guess you miss out on some stuff when you take German in high school.

I live in Austria, German is my native language. You can trust me if I say Jungfrau means virgin.

Doesn't Austrian German differ from German German? I know it's mostly the same, but I thought a few words here and there are different.

There are like 5 different German dialects each one that uses its own thing. Like Austria they speak The same dialect I think as South Germany but I don't know. Any way my paper is almost done so thanks for the sites and plug-ins (could have used the firefox plug-in but I dont have firefox)

-How to say the letter "y" in german
-Achtung!
-Mein schlauch ist ser gross

Yeah like I said, you miss out on a lot of the coloquial German language when learning from someone who memorized a few phrases and commands. "Setzt euch! Setzt euch!" seems to be her favorite.

The only one my german class teach likes and suggests us to use is

go to google, type translations

look for altavista bablefish translator.

its so good it will translate entire webpages or just simple words or entire sentences. and best of all its free.
