When you take off the red cap at the end of the Max Shot, hot glue a 1/2 inch CPVC coupler to the white barrel. Now cut a 6 to 8 inch 1/2 inch CPVC barrel and attach it to the coupler. Done. Now you have a breech loading CPVC modded Max Shot. Um... Yippee!

You could cut off some of that white barrel if you wanted to

I've done this mode already to my maxshot, but I haven't been getting great ranges, what is the average with a 6in. cpvc barrel?

That depends a whole bunch on the exact size of your FBR.

Speaking for Southern California, nobody here has FBR that fits CPVC properly so nobody mods with the stuff. Others have found slightly undersized 1/2" FBR that works great with it. This FBR is actually closer to 7/16" and if you don't have foam that size, I'd advise against CPVC.

Well if your not with the damned West Coasters and you can get mega's to fit, this gun with this mod rocks. I've been practicing with it and I would say it gets around 80 feet. The thing that sells this gun for me is simply the fact that its a cocking weapon rather than pump. Your rate of fire is going to increase significantly over that of a pump gun. Honestly breach loaded pumps can be a pain in the ass and I was actually thinking of going semi-auto until I found this puppy. Hope I helped somebody,

Talio.
