I'm in the current process of integrating an AT2k into the front LS gun, but I've hit a few snags. One is the stupid gootube thing is just a space waster, and I need to remove it. Another problem is making the trigger pull the AT2k valve. Should I use some type of wire to attach to the trigger and valve? And how should I dispose of that stupid gootube?
What is a gootube? Please be more specific and maybe I can help.
As for the AT2K valve, use some heavy fishing wire. It's pretty cheap and works very effectively. Just make sure the string is tight.

I can't help you with removing it, though, I don't know a good way to reconnect the vinyl tubing after you cut it off.
Probably dead by now, or something.

He's talking about the gootube, that stupid little tube filled with blue goo that is in between the pump and the tank in the newer AT's. It's supposed to be a gage that tells you when the tank is full, but it is useless.

Oh ok, I though you were talking about the Longshot.
There is no real efficient way of taking it off with the AT2K. For my Commlink integration I just broke it off where the tank is and shoved the vinyl tubing from the pump in there and put epoxy around it. It didn't work very well, so I added some plumber's goob around it to seal it. It finally worked after many applications. I kept getting pin sized holes.
I don't know if there is any better way of doing it. Another idea is using an AT3K airtank. The "air liquidation" thing as they call it, can be removed quite easily.
