Which one is better for a 4-6 man war? I have an RF20 and a maverick, but I am looking to diversify. I know that the war is tiny, but I'm canadian, and there is like no one that i know who thinks that nerfing isn't sissy. I will be modding these guns. Forget the poll, this my first topic and I screwed it up.

Longshot has higher ROF. The BBB is only good if you coupler mod and clip mod it...

Hey dont be too hard on yourself. Your first post was better than alot of the ones Ive seen(including my own) you actually used grammer and spelled stuff correctly. and it wasnt that bad of a topic.
And as for the size of the war thing: thats usually the size of the wars I have been in. Ive even had a smaller one (3 ppl)
As for the question: I think that if modded correctly the longshot is much better acrross the boards.
You seem like a cool guy! Welcome to NH

Actually, I thought you had intended on only putting the Longshot up as an option in the poll...
The Longshot is miles above and beyond the 3B when modded correctly. Whether it's a 3-4 person war or Armageddon, the Longshot will always be better than a 3B, I believe. It just has too much of a rate-of-fire advantage on the 3B. The only time I could see the 3B outdoing the LS is if the LS jammed. And all it takes is opening the door on top and fixing the problem.
The Longshot out ranges the 3B, and though the Longshot has accuracy issues right now, I'm sure that within the next few months someone remedies the accuracy issues. It's still no Crossbow, but it's certainly the modern form of it.

Actually, I'd have to disagree with Falcon. *GASP*
In my book, a modded Longshot is better than a clip-modded BBB which is better than a clip-modded Crossbow, which is better than a single-barreled Crossbow which is better than a single barreled BBB.
The Longshot has all the greatness of a Bacon-Bow plus Crossbow range. In my book, ROF is better than range as long as that range is 'enough'. That's why I'd rather have a magazine-fed BBBB than a magazine fed Xbow. But, since the Longshot has the range and the ROF, it's better than both in my opinion.

I don't have a Long Shot, but I'm impressed how far the thing can shoot EVEN without a barrel mod. Barrel mod it, and it shoots even further yes? *Sigh* I need brass piping...
I personally think the Long Shot may be better than a BBB. The LS has a good rate of fire and its ability to have clips is awsome too. A new spring and air restrictor removal will give you ranges a BBB can get with a barrel mod

What are the ranges for these guns if you barrel mod them with cpvc or some hardened PEX? I'm definitely going to mod whatever gun I get or, since I just got a part time job, BOTH of them! Also, what are some peoples feelings about the magstrike as a secondary, one of these as my ranged guns, a maverick/NF combo for a tertiary, and an RF20 as a main? Also, if you refer back to my first post, what are some ways to stop people to think nerfing is sissy? should I just buy an AT2K from the thrift store, do a single barrel mod, and then keep breech loading and pegging them from 20 feet away?
