I'm intergrating at2k internals into my double shot. I have everything done except for the trigger. What can I use to pull the pin back on the valve. I tried a shoe string and that didn't work.

The shoe string isnt working because cotton/wool/other cloth expands. You should use something like fishing line. But it does get stretched alittle after awhile so you may have to replace it occasionally. To lengthen its lifetime take three pieces and tightly weave them together (it needs to be really tight) I hope that all you were looking for was a stronger spring. If you were also looking for a way to make all this work say so and I'll make a diagram.

Stronger Spring? Might I ask what a spring has to do with putting 2k internals into a doubleshot shell?

Good luck! If it works out, I'd love to see it; sounds pretty cool.

You could also try replacing the string with some flexible copper wire. That won't stretch at all.

Flexible copper wire can break, I tried some for a previous project, and if it bends the slightest amount you are dead, I would reccomend braided steel wire, I am using some for a clip I am building and it really doesn't change length, and you need special cutters to cut it.

Ooohh. Braided steel cables... Those come in some really small diameters. That's a great idea, cole. I'll have to remember that.

I've tried a few different materials for trigger/valve release on a couple of my integrations (e.g. the RFR + AT2k, Wookie Bowcaster + 2k).

I found that the steel wire I used was fine for the RFR mod but not for the Bowcaster mod (where I used a pulley-like system for the trigger) probably because of the extra friction/tension.
My remedy was to use zip ties instead of wire. This worked well - zip ties definitely won't stretch!

So it probably will depend on what your actual mod looks like and how much tension will be acting on your trigger mechanism. I guess some experimentation is in order. And I'd love to see your mod when its done!

I don't really see why you are trying to accomplish here. If you do it right the double shot can be pretty mean.
