[Florida nerfer]

Okay, there hasn't been a Florida nerf war, well, for a while. I would definitely like to get one started. But first a little roll call, okay?

I know the following people live in Forida and are active on these forums:

Man, if we can get this going I would be thrilled. Judging by the amount of nerfers in Florida, I don't know why there isn't already a war. In a thread on NerfHQ it sounded like Tampa was the ideal location. I wouldn't mind driving to the west coast or even the panhandle, though. We seriously need to get this thing rolling.

I know that I could bring a group of at least three guys with me, if that helps. I just need to arrange some transportation.

A Nerf war here in Florida sounds like a great idea. But as Lancaster was saying, where would it be held? Also, how publicized would it be? Are you going for a huge event or just a small get-together? Either way, I am very interested.

I don't live in Florida, just thought I'd tell you that Crappy Nerfer was suspended a long time ago for being an asshole. I think he's still at NHQ though.

Oh, I forgot to add, good luck. I hope you guys can get a war going, I've never heard of one in Florida.

Location wise, I might be able to come if it is moderatly close to my house( no more than 1.5 hours away), if it is well that is great.
Time wise, I do not know, I have a lot on my plate right now, school, job, boy scouts( Yes, I am a Boy Scout...),
and other meaningless tasks that one must to do acheive what they call a life. So that is going to be a significant problem...
Driving wise, well, the "no more than 1.5 hours away" comment explains everything... Damn I need a Driver's Permit. My parents get very aggitated when it comes to driving long distances.
So all in all, I will pretty much see what I can do to show up. Dont count on anything.

Tampa-ish would be great for me! I just don't know where to hold it. Where are Nerf Wars usually held,?I mean, I live in Pinellas county and there's not alot of "open areas", or forest per se. Maybe a park, or somebody's house (Not mine, it's much too small) would do. It might be fun to have an indoor/outdoor Nerf War at somebody's house, especially if it's two stories. So, what city does everybody live in, and how far would you be willing to travel.
As for me, I can't travel very far- probably not too far out of Pinellas county-, because I'm only thirteen. I live in Seminole, Florida, which is kind of west of St.Petersbrug, Florida.

Look for a local park that isn't flat and tiny, or you could look for a school that would do and talk to the principal about using his school for a harmless game that Saturday.

I live in Flagler County, man I wish more people lived here, we have plenty of parks and lots of wooded areas where we play paintball. So Palm Coast is just an idea, but I know it is not going to happen because everybody lives in the Orlando area and on the West Coast.

Im sorry I said it like that, I meant we play paintball in the woods but there are a lot of parks in the area.
We also have an awesome patch of woods right behind our house that we play in.

Nah, It is just that she enjoyed the last one so much she said that we could go to one in Georgia, and if it near the border I might pursuade her to take me.

Yeah . . .Getting this event started is not going to be easy. We need someone who can become the head of the event. Whoever does it should live near where ever we have it so they can arrange everything.



Also, we do not have the benefit of a founder or true 'veteran' who will attract attendees and give us a banner to rally around. But I still want this to happen. I want this to happen real, real bad. I know some nerfers that are already coming down for the break. I'll see if I can get things coordinated.

well, i'm staying with a friend near lancaster(same street i've been told) over christmas, and i would be willing to go to something like this then, while i'm there. i don't know what you mean by a "vet" but i've been nerfing for 7 years, and have 20-30 guns, so do i count? tell me if ya'll want me to go, cause it would mena waiting till christmas time..thanks

We are going to need a Host for the war, that host is going to need to get the plans together then get with the people that are thinking about coming to get a date set up. I would gladly step foward but I live like 3000000000 miles(huge exageration) from any where were there is more than one nerfer...
It is kind of hard to schedule a date with a park or other area when you are two or three hours away from the place. I say, get a list of where everybody lives, then get a top five of the most reasonable places to go, have them discuss the places, then start making the leadership thing happen. After that, that leader can go ahead and make things happen, kind of like a forced presidency.


I know my grammer is way off, please forgive me, I just got home from a crazy football game...

We don't need someone who is famous, just someone who knows how to organize a war. And as for Groove coming, keep dreaming. If we can get this ready by the Christmas break, shortydrummer21 will be there, and I know he's been to a fair amount of wars.



My location



Lakeland (follow that link) could actually be a good place to have a war. We've got LOTS of parks and are conveniently located on I-4 between Orlando and Tampa. If you guys are interested with having it here, I'll contact the Parks and Rec. Department, or have my father do it, he's got some friends with positions there.

Lakeland is actually a pretty decent place when you think about it... Unless anybody has any objections, that looks pretty good. And having people who you know in those kinds of positions makes the whole preparing process easier. I am still having issues with my schedules but that is a place I could probably come to if there was a Nerf War.
