I know their have been several longshot modification topics but I am an extremley unmechanically inclined person and I need help. I managed to break my first LS after trying to modify it, so if someone could post a step by step ( please make it idiot proof) mod tutorial for me it would be much appreciated, thankyou in advance .

It's all good now. But what exactly is it you need healp with? Opening it up? Putting it back together, or the actual installing a new spring, drillling the air restrictor and the like? I perfomed basically what cartoon did to his, and am gona open mine up soon so ask away.

I actaully need some enlightenment into the loading action of the gun. I need to know how far to push a barrel into the part with the AR. I can't remember how far the dart got pushed into the gun. And if my barrel stick out too far the dart won't cycle right.

I still can't find a brass barrel mod writeup, I just really don't want to mess up my $30 gun.

My idea is to stick a peice of 9/16 in the main barrel and stick some 17/32 in the breech barrel. But it's alot of sanding to get it where I want. But it should provide a good seal and good dart to barrel seal as well. It's essentially gonna be a 17/32 into a peice of 9/16 breech with a 6 shot clip.

I was thinking of doing exactly what Uncle Hammer was doing, I still may, but it won't be as easy as that. I think that 9/16" brass may be a little small as far as size for most. My darts fit best in 17/32" brass, so 9/16 may be ok, but for those with larger darts you may have to upgrade the brass size. Also 9/16" brass has a small OD, so you'll have to nest it in a larger size to get it center correctly. I'm going to test fit some 19/32" and see how that works.
