Ok, there are three major types of darts: suction, sonic, and stephans. Who here prefers what?

I thought they are called Stefans with an F and not a PH... Stefans are good, I cant seem to perfect mine though. Sonics sound cool. Oh, you forgot dart tag darts.

I have a thing for screamers. They're a bit more fun to play with because that noise and i terrorize people at my work so bad with them that it's become psychological warfare. All i have to do is imitate that whistle and they hit the deck.

I can't get my stefs just perfect yet either,And the streamlines rock, but i'd like to see them in bicolor before too long.

You forgot Zeroes, those are the best of the homemade darts in my experience.

Zeroes were invented by Zero Talent, up in Canadia.

They consist of a micro dart and foam craft sheet.

You wrap a small strip of craft sheet around the tip of the dart and glue it in place.

You now have a zero.

The zero improves the seal in pvc barrel but reduces the friction that fights the air pressure as it travels down the barrel.

Sorry for the lack of forethough, guys. I don't know how to fix the poll, but it sounds like stefans are kicking ass. I don't have a favorite, to be frank. The way I see it, suctions are good for target pratice (staying where you shot them, to see if you're on target), sonics are good for psychological attack, and stefans are good for stealth/modded weapons.

A dart is a dart. Each one is fired out of a blaster with the same purpose in mind: to end its flight against someone's body.

You will find however, that the stefan is the favored dart among many Nerfers here. This is due to the fact that many of them do fly further than stock darts, and that they are very affordable to make. Personally, I just load up my guns with whatever I have at hand. Range matters little to me, because I have balls and I charge/taunt.

My Stefans aren't the best, as I have just started making them. I tend to lose a lot due to the black FBR.

Recently though, I've started using Converted Dart Tag Stefans (CDTS), and I absolutely love them. They have the same power as Stefans, yet are easily findable. A bit pricey, but worth it IMHO.

The best stock darts you can buy would have to be the buzz bee suction tips. They go the farthest because they fit extra snug in every stock barrel.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I come here expecting a pretty large, complete poll, but instead I see only three types of darts.

Along with Zeroes, Taggers, and Converted darts, you also forgot Megas, Sonic Megas, Mega Stefans, Matchsticks, Nano Stefans, Jumbo Stefans, Mongo Stefans, Streamline Darts, Tack Stefans, and Laramis, along with whatever I might have missed.

And if you want to add non-darts - Arrows, Missiles, Vortex Rings, Mega Missiles, FoamSmith Arrows, Balls, and paper darts.

Not trying to flame you, I just wished you would've had more than three choices. :D

My vote goes to Converted darts and Tagger darts. I've made some stefans, but they only work in a few of my guns, where the CDTS's work in everything with great performance. Plus, it's kinda hard to lose a bright orange dart, while I usually can't find my stefans.
