Has anyone ever used pex tube for a mod before if so how did it perform?

I am at a loss for words.

Many people love them. If you can get your hands on some, do so. If it works with your darts, use it, if not, it sells pretty well on the NIC.

pretty much, yes.

I was thinking PETG for some reason, but same goes for PEX, although you might have trouble selling it. It's a lot more common than PETG. 1/2" PEX is just a little wider than 1/2" CPVC, so it's pretty much perfect for my micros. If you don't like it as a barrel, use it for a homemade plunger shaft. It's the lightest suitable material I've found yet.

I might be willing to try some out if anybody could send me a sample (say, 1-2") to test with my darts. Just wider than 1/2" CPVC sounds perfect for me. Otherwise I guess I'll have to look around for it...

go to home depot it is really cheap like 2.67 for 5 feet.
