I should've searched first, but I didn't realize that asking just a simple question would get me banned. I'm sorry.

Hahaha, no worries, dude. If Famine had actually been serious about having you banned, he wouldn't have pleaded to Shindiggity for it. He'd have walked the fifteen feet from his cubicle to mine and said, "Dude, I want you to ban this guy on NerfHaven."

To which I would have replied, "Alright, fine-- but if I ruin this dude's Nerf career for the next 10,000 days based solely on your whimsy, then you gotta forget that five bucks I owe you."

The Hell is this? So I'm either Talio or evil? Is that what you twats have decided? As far as you are concerned, my dearest Patricia, weather I'm a horsemen or a my little pony, I am your fucking God here. When addressing me or my mother fucking nerf team you will speak with understanding of our ilustrious, albeit completely irrelevant, carreers or you will not speak at fucking all!

While I'm at it, let me give you all a little refresher. I am VACC. When you were sucking booz through your derelict mother's ambilical cord I was shooting people with plastic god damned guns. Armagedon is Armagedon because I made it such. Integrations are integrations because in a drunken stupor I duct taped two lock'n loads to a fucking crossbow. You can pretty much rest assured that if there is a place where large groups of nerfers gather on the internet, I have had a hand in it at some point in time or another. Do I think this makes me important? Fuck no, but I have spent too much fucking time talking about god damn nerf guns on the internet for my contributions to be overlooked on my own Fucking site!

Vacc, I need to apologize to you concerning the Talio fuck-up. I was starting to forget alot of names by the time the sun was high in the sky due to alot of pain in my leg and no sleep. There were some people that showed up after the Horsemen hit the field that I never caught the names of at all. This is why alot of the pictures don't have names attached to them. I had a great time chasing after all of you trying to get good pictures and video. I will definitely be at Apoc '07 and if all goes well, I should be able to go to the MA war as well next week. I will have my cameras on-hand just like I did at Apoc and maybe even a LongShot (have a heart attack now, I'll be modifying it). The Horsemen may have converted this hardcore collector into a modder at last. Only time will tell.

It will be our sixth. LCM was founded in December of 2000. This would mean we first warred with the Horsemen in the summer of 2001. In the summer of 2002, we start Apoc. 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 makes five. 2007 will be Apoc six. It's a shame they don't follow the last two digits of our year, but oh well.

Now for the quoted comment above. I'm really not a nice person so I'm just gonna say it; Dux, you have a lot to learn. In my opinion positioning is EXTREMELY important in Nerf. I think the difference is that you're used to taking a defensive position where as in Nerf you want a more offensive position. Cover is great, but you also want to have room to move, dodge, and charge in if the opportunity presents itself. The Horsemen are planning on hosting a war sometime in late September, early October and I'd really like to see you there. We'll put you through the paces and show you how the game is played. If you're really lucky we might even throw you to Vacc and have him show you a few things Piccolo-style.

Oh I know I have a lot to learn. I also should have said positioning is important, but in a different way than I'm used to. A lot of it was the guns. Mavs are totally ineffective against long range guns, and it took me most of the day to get used to a long range gun. I will definately be back, but next time with a Longshot, and/or a crossbow if I can locate one.

I don't know what amazed me more, that Paul can recall the month we formed our rag tag group into nerfers because our mommies wouldn't let us buy paintball guns, or that Dux was told he needs to work on his tactics. Freakin ridiculous.

It was hilarious, or as funny as mixing up kids you've never met before can be, that our photographer thought Matt was part of the WhoreSemen.

For the war, it was a good coming out of retirement bash, since I hadn't played with toy guns with Matt and Paul since our last all-male hot tub party.

The trek to Roy Rogers was, of course, the highlight of the day. If someone is reading this and wants to come out for an Apoc, just be ready. After I "round up" (biggie size) my fries, they come in cardboard holsters, which can be used in glorious battle to hold my spare guns.

When I make it out to the next one, even if thats in a few years, we need to do something to spice this shit up, possibly strippers, preferably female.

And always remember, you never go ass to mouth.

I wasn't the one that mistook Matt for one of the Horsemen, or as you put it, "WhoreSemen". Matt was one of the first few there, before the Horsemen arrived, plus, he didn't have a Longshot. It was {SF3G}pat 2nd Lt. who mistook Matt for being on the Horsemen because his NH handle is Evil, and he did it on page 2 of this topic.

And, Shinny (If I'm allowed to say that. Don't know if you being called that), who are the Four Horsemen. I can sort of guess by their names: Evil is the White Horsemen, Famine is the Black Horsemen, and Death is the Pale Horsemen, but who's the Red Horsemen? I don't think there's anyone here named "Bloodshed" "Prestillence" or "War"... So who's the second Rider? You've got the first, third, and fourth, or did one person just leave, but you still call yourselves the 'Four Horsemen'.

I remember who Matt was. He kept asking me how the video looked.

To answer your question Matt, it looks great. The sound picked up better than I expected, but I don't really have good video editing software to fix it up. I'm working on that issue this weekend.

Nooo, EVIL cut off all his lustrous, beautiful hair! Now the Nerf Community has no one to look up to for their hair rolemodel!

The war sounds like it was a fuckin' blast, I definately need to be out there during one of those. Maybe we'll do a CARRpool sometime in the next year or two, from Minnesota. Nerf on, my East Coast bretheren...

But now if he throws on a nice camo suit all the Lesbians out there have some one to look up to...

Man wish I was paying enough attention to this, I would've tried to make it. Oh well I will do my best to make the next one.

Those are some pretty strong words from you, Lefty. I might have you mixed up with someone else, but I'm pretty sure you're the same guy that once collapsed on the ground when faced with the prospect of taking me on, one-on-one.

You screamed, "Tap!" repeatedly.

People still reminisce about that story at our gatherings.

Bitch.

And yes, I cut my hair. Three years ago.

Yeah, it definately wan't Lefty.

Apoc was fucking sick apart from the fact that all of my guns (with the exception of the AT2K) broke. Thanks to the Horsemen, I will be purchasing my own Longshot cause I am through with air guns.

Okay everyone. I've been very busy this week so I haven't been able to do too much with the video footage as of yet, but I was able to isolate one piece that people should get a kick out of. Due to the limits of my current video editing software (I'm using Sony Click to DVD), it is going to take a quite a long time, but it will get done to the best of my abilities.

Early into the day, OMC made a rather unusual sound when he was under fire. We weren't sure if it was caught on video, but I have it in all its glory. The video is downloaded onto youtube.com since PhotoBucket's video software degraded the quality significantly.

One Man Clan going "EEEP!"

Let me know if the video works or not. I'm not the most computer savvy person around, but I get by just fine. I will keep you all updated as I get more of the footage edited, especially the surprise attack by the Four Horsemen.

Evil: I'm glad you liked the video, but I'm not done yet. The next one that I am posting will feature the surprise appearance of the Four Horsemen. Like I said before, this is slow going, but I can get it done.

Famine I may very well take you up on that offer. To explain, for this video footage, how protective of my stuff I am--it is a cripple shooting amateur video of people running around and shooting each other with foam. I doubt the Academy will be knocking on my door for this film. I will edit out the useless footage (me talking to Vacc while walking, the useless camera angles where no one was in the frame) and burn you a DVD for editing purposes. All I ask for is credit for the footage. There is too much footage to fit on just one disc unless I use a dual-layer DVD, but they are expensive. I'll let you know when I finish the rough edit of the film.

Here is the next video clip from the war. Vacc and the rest of the Four Horsemen should love this one.

shit..... I guess it was a bad month to stop paying attention to the fourms :D . Only I could have the god awful luck of managing to pass my road test and procure a vehicle and than miss a war only a 2 hour drive from my house. Anyway, no use moaning and groaning I guess, looks like a good time was had by all, looking forward to meeting everyone next time. Just out of curiosity, if the horsemen wouldnt mind, what mods have you guys done to your longshots?

Pretty much exactly what was discussed in Carrtoon's thread on the subject. Removed the air-restrictors and added a Big Bad Bow spring. For my part, I didn't even remove the air restrictors-- just added a BBB spring. That seemed to tone down the weapon's power enough to prevent the spinouts everyone's been complaining about.

Yeah, I posted on a thread about longshots about that, the air restrictors really don't change the distance much... I assume if you do a barrel mod it would, but without a barrel mod it just makes the gun louder and results in more spinouts.

The trick with the longshot is to insert your penis into the barrel, then pull out the air restrictor, then lube it to all hell. Its exactly like a woman.
