we were having a little battle last night indoors and we had all the lights off and I have this little keychain light I was using... my friends were saying it's annoying and stop using it... then finally after I shot them one of them said I have a headache I'm not playing anymore... does anyone else use lights of any kind when playing in the dark??

Do you mean one of those LED keychains? Shine yourself in the eyes repeadedly with one of those and you'll think yourself as much a jackass as your friends probably do.

Just use a regular flashlight, and some punctuation/capitalization.

Ill use a maglight when its dark, but I don't need it during the summer.

Yea, he probably really DID have a headache from the light.

I play with whatever is on the gun, which pretty much rules out LED lights... of course if none of your guns have anything you can just carry a regular flashlight.

I still think a camera strobe to blind opponents would be a good idea! I don't nerf in the dark, so no, I don't use a light. Wouldn't that give away your position too much anyway?

I used a Firefly in a dark war, I lost very quickly. The flash did blind opponents, but it gave away my position and a lucky shot from my brother's Tek-Six found my forehead. A tactical flashlight would have been nice in that one, but a flash didn't help much unless it had been from somewhere other than where I was.

However, the flash did provide an instant picture of the room. Your brain can't process all the information that your eyes send it, but your sensory memory can keep the image long enough to get a picture of where someone might be hiding after you've taken cover again. I think I would still use the Firefly in a dark war, I'd just make sure to take better care in hiding the little red "on" light and take better cover.
