I'm having problems with what I think is the BBB's catch mechanism. It's two square orange pieces, with poles sticking out of them, and I remember that there were small, fairly weak springs on said poles. These poles go out two holes on either end of the shell at the back of the front, outside part of the case.

I've put these things in every which way and yet I still get the same problem. I cock the gun, shoot it, and then the catch catches on the way back, making it impossible to move back to the neutral position again to fire.

If there is something I'm missing here, I'd really like to know it. It's really annoying to have to hold the BBB in the cocked position while aiming.

If you managed to put the gun back together, then it probably isn't a problem with the catch square things. Did you be sure to but the barrel assembly back where it was when you opened it? I have accidentally put it slightly out of place before and had a problem with it catching. Also, did you leave the circular air restrictor thing in the barrel? BBB's often have serious problems without that piece.

Otherwise, I'm stumped. I've modded four of these things and I've never had a problem with the catch mechs.

Probably dead by now, or something.

Yeah, I think your problem may be with the circular, white air restrictor. Did you leave that in the gun? When I removed mine, the plunger went too far and the gun was very hard to cock. I drilled a hole in mine and replaced it, and never had a problem again.

Come to PANO!

You'll take my life but I'll take yours too
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand there's no turning back. The Trooper

Thanks guys, it's all set now. I just fudged around with the catch and white thing, and it went eventually. Thanks for the quick responses.
