Leave him alone, we all make mistakes just like you did when you spelled going wrong.
To get back on topic I would have to agree with Hokie on how thrilled i am about the magstrike, this hopefully will turn into a great gun when it is modded.

I'm probably going to get both of em, but I would rather have the Longshot, but that just me, Im a asshole type and if I can modify that thing to shoot like a asshole, which definitely is dooable, not neccesarily using the parts from only that gun, then good. But I'll jsut get whichever I find first.

The "loser" filter was created for a reason, so instead of looking like an asshole who can't figure out a more clever way to get around it than saying "asshole," why don't you just say "long-range gun?" It pisses me off to no end when people still say that word even though there's a filter to block it.

You're not a "asshole", you're good at long-range shooting, and being a coward and camping to avoid being shot.

Haha! Damn spawn campers.

But, yeah. I'm totally looking forward to both of them.
I'va always wanted a PC but have never gotten the chance to get one. But, now I do and it's already clip compatable.
And I'm also diggin the Longshot for it's looks and hopeful ranges and the clip idea is off the hook!
So, I'm looking forward to both of them.

Problem is if I'm going to have enough cash to get both of them...

If the long shot is garbage I will try to incorparate Titan internals. That will be a worthy gun of a scope,bi-pod and clip fed. Sure it wont get the same ranges as a single barreled Titan but It will still be damn good. Expecting ranges of around 150-175' due to air loss. As for the Magstrike I am really excited because I always wanted a powerclip and I think this gun is going to be even better than its predecessor.

EDIT: Just realized that if I were to buy both guns stock I'd be spending over a $100.
$100 in nerf gun parts put into one! I'd have to paint it gold!

Definitely the Magstrike. The PC has been one of my most-desired guns, but I haven't really had the cash or the luck to get one yet. Now it's coming out, and seems to be BETTER.

The Longshot is eh. Besides its extremely phallic darts and out-of-the-box Stefan compatibility, there's not too much interesting about it besides the fact that it's long. And I'm going to college this fall, so there isn't much room for a three-foot Nerf behemoth.

I am definitely looking forward to the Magstrike because I have always wanted a PC, but I was never able to find one. Also, I fact that I can fire its clip in an automatic fashion gives me a GREAT rate of fire in close quarter situation.

I am actually not looking forward to the longshot. It's just too bulky. Sure, the rate of fire is very attractive given that the gun can be modified to 80' range. But then, a clip-modded LBB or something similar to Angel's BBB can achieve such performance, maybe better given that it is cheaper to buy the stock gun and possibly higher ranges too.

I'm excited about both of them. I've always wanted a PC, but the Magstrike is even better. The Longshot is just so badass that I can't avoid buying it. It's the perfect size, it won't be bulky at all without the front pistol, it's clip fed, and it's probably capable of 60' or more. I use Tagger darts, so the Magstrike is perfect, but I might have a smal problem with using a different ammo type in the longshot. I'll have to buy some more darts for the LS when I get it.

I'm looking forward to both, the Magstrike is the answer to the problems I had with my PowerClip (which I am selling to someone) due to the fact that the clips are easily removable to put another fully fresh dart loaded one on. As for the LongShot, well, it will be a whole new gun to add to my arsenal which is different from the others I have, everything about it makes me want one. I can't wait, this fall will be so much fun indoors for me in the UK, I have something to keep me going until summer comes again for Super Soakers! B)

I like the longshot but its ammo type is going to fuck people who cant buy extra ammo(you know good and well as soon as people see it in walmart they will buy as much as there is. And for stefans- not everyone uses them. They will totally screw us on extra ammo by chargin an arm and leg for 10) I want the magstrike more. Just because of the ammo. If the longshot was able to use micro darts it would be one of the best nerf guns. Unless I get like 30+ darts I'm going to just use my bbb mod until I get more darts.

Or, you could use Stefans without any modifications to the gun at all, which is actually a great boon. Really, that's a benefit in and of itself. Stefans are easy to make, and if you don't make them I'd suggest you learn how. It's not hard at all. And you could always order more darts directly from Hasbro.

Can you just rip off the suction cups and put hg and bb's to make stefans?
Where can I get stuff to make them(note: needs to be cheap-Im flat broke  )
Will stefans work in the bbb and blowguns along with nf and mavs?

Stefans work in anything that they fit in - in fact, I don't think that a non-stefan blowgun would be very good at all. Just go to Lowes or Homie D and look for caulk saver - .5 in. for micros, .75 for megas.

And, yes, you can make stefans with standard darts, and those would work (probably quite well) in the longshot. I use #7 fishing weights for my stefans, personally.

megas are 5/8, mongos are 3/4. Also, stock bullet blowguns ( at least the ones I've made) work incredibly well.

Does anyone know if the clips on the magstrike and lonshot are the same / interchangeable?

Definitely not. The Longshot has a spring loaded mag, while Magstrike's clip just moves upward as it fires.

Oops, yeah, I meant 5/8. It's been so long since I purchased mega foam I sort of forgot the proper size. I guess that would have thrown you off, huh? Sorry.
