Hmm. I haven't been here for awhile.

Anyways, I have some questions.

When trading with cash, what is sent first? The money, or the gun?

What are shipping costs like on average? Depending on the gun, and distance of the locations.

Also, how do you change you display name?

The cash is always sent first. If you are buying the blaster, you send your money then they send the blaster. If someone is buying a blaster off you, they send the money first. It's just like using ebay. I also feel the same way about trades, but some people will want to have both items sent at the same time.

Shipping depends on the size of the blaster and where they live. 2 day priority shipping is usually around $4-15 depending on the size, weight and distance of the package. The bigger it is, the more money. The heavier it is, the more money. If you have to send it to the other coast, it's usuallya bit more.

Nope. Besides, most people know you by your existing user name anyway.

I have had the admin at other sites change mine to the one I preferred, but I just had a typo kind of thing there.

I am feeling a small amount of sarcasm from Shindig...

But I think that the admin or at least the webmaster can.

On all forums using IPB, usernames can be changed via the edit member function of the admin cp. AKA, PM an admin. I think what Shindig was hinting at is that changing a username is not smart when one is an established member of a community. People will not recognize you and probably think n00b. I'm still getting used to a certain username change that a member made a year ago at another forum! Basically, don't ask to change your name without considering what that will do to your reputation, then only proceed if you REALLY still want to.
