Never could get my hands on one. My main criteria for buying a gun for my collection is:

1) Not modified in any way.

2) Has all of the origianl parts. Ammo is not a part of this unless the ammo is unique to the gun.

3) The gun needs to be functional.

I just got myself a Sawtooth a couple of months ago. I would have had one sooner, but every other one I saw was either missing the shoulder stock, the scope/barrel, the clips, or any combination of the above. Being a collector sucks sometimes.

By the way, Orange, I am officially asking you if I may use your pictures for this list.

I'd offer to sell you mine as I don't use my guns anymore, but unfortunatly its modified and the air tank needs a leak patched up. Still a great gun though, one of my favourites.

As far as who made what when, I'm sure I can get info like that from my friends at hasbro. This project is something I had been thinking about myself for a long time. I'd really like to see it take shape.

Again, I am getting ready for armageddon. Once that passes, my schedule will clear up a bit.

Hey everyone, I'm back. We strayed off topic a little bit too much. It doesn't matter really who made what when, so lets leave this alone for now.

To make compiling a list easier, if you have pictures for me to use that are not on a site of some sort, like Orange or ItalionStallion, send them to my email. I check my junk mail multiple times a day, so nothing will be missed. All help will be appreciated, and when it is done, I will give credit to those whose pictures are used and those who contributed help. This list is for the benefit of everyone in the nerf communities everywhere, not just me.

Right now I am editing the list a bit to get it alphabetized. When I have more of the non-nerf items, they will be organized better as well.

OMC, have fun at Armageddon. One of these days I will go to a Nerf war to meet all of you. I won't play due to a knee injury, but I will gladly record the event. I have to see all of you in action someday.

Great idea.

To help your list a bit, the Bigsalvo has been put out in TWO distinctly different color schemes.

I don't know which you have in your photobucket account, so I'll put up both. Currently, the red/grey-themed one is still being sold at Many Toys 'r Us Stores (at least it still is at mine) but I haven't seen the blue one in stores in awhile,

There's also an Orange version of the Blast Bazooka:

Aww crap. Didn't see that you mentioned sending them to your email. Oh well.

Thanks Falcon. To be honest, it doesn't really matter where you send them. I just thought it would be easier for NH's servers to have them sent to me instead of crowding this page with pictures. I saw the blue BS when they first came out, but, like an idiot, I didn't buy it.

Thanks again.

No, you didn't, just misunderstood what I have up so far. The current list in the first comment of the topic is everything I own, just about. It is there to show people what the gaps are in this list I am building. I know about the Switch Shots Super, but NerfCenter will not let you copy pictures or any other information off of their site.

I am currently waiting for some people to get back to me concerning adding content. If you have any pictures of items I don't have listed, I will gladly take them.

Also, just to reiterate what I said earlier. Pictures of modified guns are not what I am looking for. Even if the picture does show the basic body design of the gun, if there is anywhere visible in the picture that has been modified, it may confuse a collector that doesn't know better.

Thanks again to the support I have received so far!!! Keep it coming!

If the boxes display the new gun inside of it, then fine. I was really looking for the guns themselves. You see, sometimes the picture on the box is not the same as the gun itself. For example, and this is such a close call on this one, the Rapid Fire 20. If you look at the back of the box, it shows the black plastic paneling as having a convex sharp angle. This is the old design of the gun. The current design has a concave sharp angle. If you don't know what I mean, around where the black pieces meet with the mode selector switch, the panel is curved inwards, but the picture shows it curved outwards. I have been trying to get my hands on one of the older design RF20s, but with no success. So if the boxes you have actually contain the gun as well for display, then yes.

EDIT: I can't really be picky though. As a collector, I am keeping the boxes for the ones I have, but most of the nerf collectors I know are worried more about the guns than anything else. Considering the fact that most of what we get for our collection was owned by some little kid, the odds of getting the box intact is sometimes about the same as my ex-wife apologizing for all that she has done and making ammends for her actions. (Sorry about that, our old wedding anniversary is on Monday, the same day her daughter was born. Not mine.)

I should be able to get a few box pictures, I have boxes for the Ripsaw, Manta Ray, Rapid Fire 20, SuperMAXX 350 Dart Blaster, Unity Power System and an old box picture of the Lock'N'Load I once had before I sold it. I will also be receiving a new in box Vortex Tornado so I could provide detailed pictures of the box for that before I open the gun.

Since I have a fair few guns at present and on their way here, I could take detailed pictures of those too. I hopefully if all goes well, should be getting a SuperMAXX 2000, and once I glue the arrow holder thing back on it will be complete, and since these aren't too common perhaps I could provide images of that if you want.

Also, perhaps pictures of every type of Nerf gun ammo and colour vareity in as much detail all in one too. I have a fair few different types of ammo and colour, although I know many other people do as well, and probably have more than I do, but still.

Wild Boys: What I meant about the box displaying the gun inside of it was boxes like the Maverick or Nite Finder with the guns still in their packages. I am primarily looking for pictures of the guns themselves. All of the guns you listed I have already. Take a look at my PhotoBucket account as see what I mean.

Badger's PhotoBucket---Click on Ultimate Nerf Checklist

As for the ammo concern, I was thinking of doing that as well. Gods know I have plenty of darts and rings. That will be next on my list. The guns first though because, it is the harder task to complete.

EDIT: Thanks SG, that is exactly what I want. A picture of an unmodified gun. This will help.

You don't have to shut up.

With regards to ammo, I can provide pics of some of the slighty rarer bits of ammo from the old days. Let me know if you need old balls (the type that came in the Blast-a-Matic, slightly different size to the later models), black Larami's (before Supermaxx became Nerf) and yellow Larami's (came with older SM5000, not sure what else), Arrowstorm Arrows (yellow with black fins iirc), Larami arrows (black with pink fins), NB-1 arrows (mini black with blue fins), Sharpshooter 1 darts (not 100% if I still have any) and possibly more.

Ah, those black Larami darts were the dogs bollocks, I use to use them in every gun. So damn accurate and powerful.

Anything you have will really help, I just ask that you post them here to keep the topic going. I almost had to bump it and I was getting a little discouraged when nothing was coming in. Unless I go out and buy every gun I don't own, this project will not happen without everyone's help.

I just took pictures of all of my ammo variations. They will be going into the PhotoBucket account when I get home from a meeting. I will list it all out here as well, just like i did with the guns.

One thing I have to ask though Duke. I looked at every one of my ballistic balls and only noticed a difference between the yellow and the green. I even took out the balls that came with my Blast-A-Ball and my Blast-A-Matic and compared them with the other yellow balls and still noticed no difference. The green ones are slightly bigger than the yellow, and the orange ones I have are actually ever so slightly smaller than the yellow ones. The orange ones are for the Demolition Man AC-MAG. I will edit this post later with the new information.

EDIT: All of my ammunition pictures are now up in the PhotoBucket account.

Ultiamte Nerf Checklist (updated 24 July 2006)

I labeled them according to the gun they belong to, but I don't know them all. Somebody check out the album and let me know if I got anything wrong or if you can identify where an unindentified one came from. In fact, here are two guns from Lanard that I am clueless as to their identity. They look the same but they came with two different types of ammo.

Posted Image

These next two pictures are of the ammo for these two guns.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Once I get some more pictures of guns from everyone, I will repost an updated version of the list, to include all those that have submitted material so far.

There is a difference in size between the balls I have for my 2 Blast-a-Matics and the balls that came with my Supermaxx 5000. Not much difference, but one is larger (I forget which). Though, thinking about it, this may be because I've had the 2 B-A-M's since 1990 and have used them a lot....perhaps the balls have expanded over time?

I have a few bits of ammo that you don't have on your list yet, I'll take some pics asap and send them to you.

Oh, quick question as well - what guns came with the yellow with black tip mega darts? I have some in my ammo box but don't ever remember seeing them come with any of my guns...

I honestly don't know what gun or guns those mega darts came from. I got them in a box with about 30 other mega suction darts about a year ago. I don't even know exactly how many of them I have. All of my ammo sits in a large Rubbermaid container. That's why I put them up like that. Some of them may never get labeled, but I can always hope.

When you get the pictures for me, just post them on this topic.

I'll be posting more ammo myself soon as well as more guns. I've got alot more items coming in that I purchased, including another Ultimator, this time with the missiles included.

Photos of All Types of Ammunition

Keep the submissions coming. I've unfortuneately had to resort to buying alot of the guns that I needed for the list so I could add them. This is hard when you don't have alot of money to spend, but I have been very lucky as of late. Also, if anyone can identify some of the pictures in the checklist that I have no clue as to their names, please let me know. There are a couple of guns and alot of darts that I have no clue about at all.

In the future I won't keep posting the entire list, just what has been added to it. If you need a complete list to see what you may have to contribute, just PM me and I'll send you one. I just realized how long this list is and all I have to say is...HOLY SHIT!!! I wll try to do this about once a month.

Thanks for the pictures Ryan. The last gun you had listed is the redesigned Tek Six. They also produce it in three colors: Blue, Green, and Yellow.

To everyone else out there, I need alot more submissions. This is a massive project that can't be finished on my own. I still need pictures of alot of guns and the help of the entire NH community.

Do you know what guns these arrows went to Wild Boys? I think the yellow one is the original arrow for the Bow N' Arrow, but I also know they were just being sold seperately.

Okay everyone, here is an update on the list. Instead of listing the whole damn thing again, I'm just going to post up the additions.

Keep those submissions coming in. The list is coming along pretty nicely, though I had to buy some guns to get pictures for them. If anyone out there has a picture of an unmodified gun that isn't included in my checklist, post it here and it will be added to the list. Here are the links to the checklists again.
