Hopefully. I'm thinking mid-late August like the BBB last year and the N-Strike the year before.
BBB last year, waaaaa? Was there a re-release of it?

Wow. Someone's late to the table. Go to your local Toys R Us for the answer.

I don't Nerf anymore, haven't been active in the Nerf community since Nerf Online died Besides which, I still have my BBB from when it was released the first time around.
On a side note, I doubt the re-release is available at many TRU's here in the UK, if any at all.

So, here we go:
Stock Magstrike with stock magazines, firing stock Dart Tag Darts.
Fired from 6' off the ground, on level gravel driveway. No wind.
4-5 feet of dart skip.
30'
38'
39'
43'
44'
44'
45'
45'
46'
51'
Average: 42.5'
That last 51-footer had significant skip. It more like 44 or 45, but it bounced a lot.
And no, the gun doesn't get more powerful as it shoots. The first shot was 51, the second 46, and so on. I just put it in this order because I had to walk past the 30' one first, before I could get to the 51' one.
And just to make it even more frustrating for all of you: I don't have pictures.
This just helps prove my theory that the first people to get the new guns are always the ones who aren't good at modding, or are afraid to take their guns apart. The second wave of people who get the guns never have cameras. The third wave isn't part of the NIC, so there's no hope of learning anything from them. Then, the fourth wave is all the respected modders with good cameras.
Anyway, it's basically just a PC with a bigger bladder and more air-per-shot that comes with two clips.
Oh! A neat thing I found: there's a safety on it! Yeah. There really is.
It's this little free-wheel inside the gun attached to a spring. When a magazine is inserted, it rolls over and depresses this little wheel, which allows the gun to fire. When a magazine is out, however, the gun won't fire.
I'm not sure why Nerf felt that this gun needed a safety mechanism, but it does. It might actually be handy, since now it won't acidentally go off if you're reloading or something.
Also, it's hard to keep enough air in to fire both magazines. The trigger timing has to be perfect. Though I'm sure we'll all be able to learn exactly how long it takes to fire then shots, and then reload.
On the note of the stock: it's not bad. It feels like a paintball marker with on-gun air. Also, it feels fairly comfortable to put the stock in the crook of your right elbow while you're pumping, and hold onto the front grip of the gun with your right hand, and pump with your left. It's well sized, in my oppinion. Nerf was deinfatley looking at a much odler crowd with this release.
So, once I open this thing up, maybe badn the bladder, take out the restrictors on the mags, and grab some stefans, I'll be back with some more info!
UPDATE: God damn you, Hasbro!!! There's a stupid endcap over the end of the pump, and I don't feel like forcing it. I'll be back once I find a really thin-headed screwdriver and a hammer. I really don't want to force it on a $30 gun. I feel no shame breaking open a $5 AT2K, but a $30 brand new Magstrike? I don't wanna risk breaking it.
Sincereley,
Pat

This is the lower half of the trigger assembly.
I will try to take a better picture but this is the upper firing mechanism.
A slightly blurry pic of the airtank and end of the pump.
Most of the pics were blurry but I hope this at least clears some questions up.

Sounds like this gets as good/better stock range as longshot.
I think this might be the better gun.
