I recently bought a Lanard Sonic Bazooka at Ocean State Job Lot, and decided to mod it. A Lanard Sonic Bazooka is the same as a blast bazooka, but smaller, and has a smaller air tank. First I sawed off the front of the barrel where the orange restrictor was. Then I sawed off part of the SM1500's air tank where it connects to the turret, and glued it on to the turret so it would be air tight. Then I sawed off about 2 inches behind where there are srews in the front, and put the part I sawed off from the air tank, inside the barrel of the Sonic bazooka. While it was open I also sealed the pump, so I could get a few more pumps in but it's extremely hard to pump after 10. Everythings working fine and the turret is pretty sturdy. The next thing i'm going to do to it is pain it black or black, and green, because this gun looks UGLY with the colors it came out of the box.(Light blue, and Yellow) I'll try and get some ranges up, and a pic or two if I can borrow a camera.

EDIT: I figure someone will call me stupid for ruining a SM1500, but the Air Tank blew, and lots of other parts were broken.

So you put a SM1500 turret on a Sonic Bazooka? Pictures would be good.

Sounds like a lot of people have been putting turrets on barrels recently. Good stuff. I'd really like to see how this one turned out!

Why on earth would you want to put an AT2K turret on a mav. You actually want to decease it's ROF?

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

It may decrease the rof, but it might also increase range.

Not by much. And why would you want to that anyway? Get a NF and attach it to that. MAverick ain't meant for range, it's for ROF. I personally glue a small peice of brass on the back of a turret, and glue some pvc to that, so I can use it in any of my coupler'd guns.

The AT2k's range comes from its air delivery, not from the turret. The Mav's range comes from its tight barrels. Honestly, Mav barrels are pretty much optimized for the gun in the first place - they couldn't get too much better. I've yet to see any evidence that PVC mods affect the performance in any significant way, and switching them with an AT2k turret would do virtually nothing. Just leave the turret on the AT2k, unless you single-barrelled it already.

Come to PANO!

You'll take my life but I'll take yours too
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand there's no turning back. The Trooper
