Topic name and description sums it all up. I've noticed quite a bit of it going on around here lately. Things have been popping up that I am almost sure would have stayed in the crypt. There's been a few members, but one sticks out plainly (will leave this name anonymous, although they're pretty obvious). Despite fellow member warnings, it just keeps happening. Is this the latest troll fad?

I'm posting this merely because I'm tired of seeing age-old topics back at the top of the forums. Rather than coaxing them onward, I thought I'd voice this here as a concerned member. It would be nice to end it.

And when he gets to Heaven, to St. Peter he will tell, "One more soldier reporting sir, I've served my time in hell."

"I bluff it. I don't throw my weight around and say I know what I'm doing." ~ Mick Jagger

Thank you, I now believe that there are 2 members in particular bringing back old topics.... It is REALLY getting annoying too.

The best thing you can do in situations like this is not post in those ressurected topics, and not answer any questions.

The necromancer will usually go away shortly after no one replies to him, and the topic will die once more.

Posting only eggs them on, although sometimes it's necessary to give a warning for the first time it happens. It's important not to jump on a bandwagon and "reinforce" the person who warns the thread-necro.

Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

Excellent advice, Black Wrath.

Thanks for the concerns.

NerfHaven is due a cleaning and the admins will be discussing ways to start removing excess clutter from the forums. Stuff like members, etc.

So what are the steps that noobs should take in solving the problem? I thinks these would work:
1. use the seach option feature
2. pm (private message) So that those members that have moved on from the subject can have more time dealing with the matters at hand. So that way, only one or two vetran members get "bothered" and everyone else moves on in peace. And also, the vetran can also decide if the message should be posted.

any objections

I believe I may be responsible for this, I apoligize to ompa for being so harsh, and I thank AssasinNF for tiping me off. I'm not usually on this site let alone online, so I forget these things. Crap to do people to see.

I'm just concerned that NH could be held liable when Ted inevitably ties this kid up and sticks him in his trunk for safe keeping. Seriously, Parkway, you might want to think about carrying a tazer.

:)

PM's work wonders. If you see someone doing this stuff, tell them about it via PM.
