I just had a random idea and thought I would post it on NH. I put this in the Off Topic section because I don't really recomend trying it and it dosn't exactly relate to nerf. But anyways, here goes.

What would happen if you put steel fishing weight on two ends of the tip of the stefan exposed to the outside instead of in the middle, covered the stefan with gasoline, and made the end of your barrel flint? Would this set the stefan alight and soar through the air properly?

Wouldn't the friction of metel and flint stop the dart in the barrel?

As it was previously stated, you suck at life.

Not only is that a waste of gasoline, which is incredibly expensive, it's a waste of time.

Did you stop to think that the foam would instantly evaporate and possibly clog up your barrel? We all love a molten, foamy mess, now don't we?

And that's besides all of the obvious dangers.

Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

[voluntarily edited out by AnyaSeijin; thanks, dude.]

My only question from what I've stated is if the dart would go up in flame as it passed through the fire, or if the chemical goo would light, and eventually melt the dart away -and if it would still fly after that.

O well. I'll never know, because as many times as I've seen this topic. No one has ever come through on it. And I'm an old man with no time for stupidity like that anymore.

Me too.

Hear that siren in the distance? That will happen if you have some young, not-too-bright fellow actually TRIES to do what you're talking about, and burns their house down, or worse, someone elses.

Consider this a warning...if it's even remotely dangerous, don't post it here. Even in off-topic.

Don't post unless you have something to say.

Let me embellish that by adding the part about common sense and just plain "not dumb". Keep the random ideas to yourself until you actually try it, then post some results.

I play baseball a different way. Two strikes and you're out.

Strike one.
