Today, I went to our local rummage sale and I came acrosss some very good guns. I fond a Airtech 4000, Arrow Strike, Maverick, Supermax 1500, range shot, and a Lightin Blitz. I bought all of these for about 7 dollars, which is a amazing deal! Anyway today I got to modding the At 4k and I could not get the 12 barrel peice off. If any one has experience with this gun please help me out.

You can't get it out, just saw all of the barrels off and leave stubs for your new barrels.

I really dont like to saw off any part of a nerf gun unless it is still in stores. So that is not an option.

Well then you won't be doing anything with the barrels. I opened up my AT4k and did a basic plugging of the pump and I tryed to remove the turret and now I can't get it to work. Oh well. The iinternals are very complicated.

Other than that, great find.

Um, that's kind of the only way to replace the barrels. What do you want to do, add barrels without getting rid of the old ones? It isn't like you can just stick something in the stock barrels and get better ranges, you kind of have to get rid of the stock ones.

It is possible to remove the restrictors and add barrels to a gun without cutting off the stock ones. It's tough, but not impossible. You will either need a metal lathe to shave down your cpvc or add the thin-walled brass. I don't have an at4k, but I have done this to my at3k:

Not to be too off-topic, but if you can have a gun that gets 60' flat and 12 shots, I'd call that pretty good. At least that was what Bags said his clan member's 4k got.

I will probely just drill out the air ristrictors, then put some 17/32 brass inside the barrels. Thanks, you have all been a big help.
