I've noticed on many homemades that people cut the case in half...
I'm just wondering what you mean, as I can't think of any homemades that do that (most use whole tubes). Could you give an example?

A tap cuts a thread into a certain size range of drilled hole.
I'm using mostly #6-32 screws so I have a matching tap.

See the grey thing in the back?
It's 2 pieces of balsa that sandwich a layer of that plumber's putty epoxy. Then I just drill a hole through that and the other part of the gun and screw it straight up through the epoxy and the other case.
Boltsniper makes little tabs and screws them in so the screw heads are on the side of the gun, mine are on the bottom.

Thanks ompa, that's exactly what I needed. So you just have one at the back? Wouldn't the front be loose?

Thanks for the prompt replies, guys. Carbon, as you can see in ompa's pic, he cut his case in half.
Ah, I get you...case = receiver.
