A 50 foot spread? Are you sure? 'Cause that's a lot of distance. I mean... *looks up and down hall*
that's 45 feet... and... well I could take a picture but it seems to me like getting a spread bigger then that would be pretty darn hard unless you were at least 50 ft. away.
Cause then...
22.5 22.5\.........../|
.\........./.|
...\...../...| 50
....\.../....|
.....\x/.....|
Angle x is only... 48.44 degrees. Which is 24.22 degrees either direction (divide by two for left and right).
Actually, wait, that actually makes sense. If a grenade can launch a dart out at at least 45 degrees, then:
22.5 22.5\.........../|
.\........./.|
...\...../...| x
....\.../....|
.....\90....|
90 b/c it's 45 to the left and to the right.
Side x is... 22.5 ft.
SO, as long as the darts fly at least 22u1/2 feet after release, it's possible. Assuming you get a 45 deg. angle launch from your grenade. Which doesn't seem all that difficult to me, actually, especially from a folding frisbee. Those things tied up are like compressed steel springs.
So, the one suggestion I have for you: throw it harder. Maybe even get a launcher... half a sphere, perhaps, that throws the frisbee... hmm...
Sorry if that trig was too much for ya.
