Ok folks, Falcon and I talked about it and I'm going to try to host another World Conquest on May 29th, former date of Spring CAFF, snice he's moving it. And To mix things up, I'm Hosting it at a location that ISN'T cullen elementary in glendora, I'm just a little unsure of where yet. We lost the Horsetheif Canyon park to HCLL baseball feilds. so I need a new loc. The suggested wooded area from WC1 would be fun, but not during this time of year (rattlesnakes and such) I'm still location scouting, but I figured I'd get it up here. Most likely this is going to be a NARF VS Balck Knights war, but perhaps some of you other SoCal nerfers will come? Anywho, Plan on it being in corona or lake Elsinore. I'll have more details soon.

Hopefully all the Knights will make it, but either way, I'll do whatever I can to get there.

Just make sure Pillz has his 4k working again before the war, lol

the Barrel Assemble rotates every time he pumps it. perhaps I can fix it. and if not, he'll have something that will work quite well by WC2. like a NDB-Narf Demon Bazooka, my new nickname for the LBB mod of legend.

Sweet, I'll still have something to do that day ;) Do we have a general idea of possible turnout, or is it still too early to tell?

Pilz.

With Tony's LBB.

HOLY SHIT.

That's a REALLY scary thought...

I never thought i'd see him packing a single-shot weapon (especially one with that long of a priming time). Are you planning to stick a turret on it, or is he really carrying a one-shot wonder?

Sheesh...

well, first I have to find another Lbb, but if possible, he'll have both the Lbb and the 4k.

here's a really rough guess on who will come from my clan:

take note, these are all perhapses currently, except for say, myself:

Bags
Amanda
Tone-dogg
Cosmo
Pixel
Big Rich
Pilz
Shwa
Shwang (jade)
Weeze
Tre BRC
flowbee

and we have three n00bs to break-in who should be able to come to WC2 who shall remain unnamed...because they don't have nerf names yet... so we could see anwyhere from 5-15 from my clan..

Everybody knows about it.

Either through the forums here, or Bag's post about it in our myspace group. They all know. And I told Apollo. So they all know.

I'll be working with Pyro and Nightwing personally when Armageddon is approaching to get them back in shape (because no matter how long they've been nerfing, they've been out for quite awhile. But they won't be back on for NWC, I can tell you that right now.

Found A Location, It's in Corona, It's a little tough to get to, Here's a link to the Loc on google maps, it's a large park off Clay Canyon Roadd at the intersection with Knabe Street.

http://maps.google.c...012531&t=h&om=1

Here's a pic of the map:
Posted Image
The Green Region is the Park, so we've got plenty of room if someone decides to throw a party at a section of it.

Anyone comming southbound on the 15 will have it easy, just get off at weirick and turn right onto Knabe, follow Knabe to Clay Canyon and Bam! you're there.

Me and as many Narfers as I can get are going over there tomorrow to check it out.

Oh bags, if you need some LBBs, I can pick you up a few around here, provided I get reembursed.

Can Do will Do Done!!! I need at least 2, here's how this goes, I'll Give You (Price) for one, and I'll paint the Split Tech for another one.

Played there yesterday, the place rocks! forgot my camera, so no pics yet. also: food options are a little closer, but are the same places as before: Carl's JR, AM/PM, Tom's Farms: Burgers N' Stuff, Tom's Farms Deli And Pizza and Senior Tom's: Mexican food.

I may also be able to attend this war. Could I use this In the war? It only tops out at around 75' and just has a 3B spring in it.

I'd have to see it in person before I make a final verdict, but if you come, you should bring a Manufactured blaster too. I won't rule it out right away since you said it does have a BBB spring though.

I can't be so harsh as to not let him use it if it realy gets the range he claims, hell, we have a guy who's LBB leaves welts at 100ft+ ranges. it's only fair.

I'll be coming.

Me, and my NEW set of pistols.

PS. Which reminds me Bags. I want to give them another black and red paint job, but I obviously have failed in the past when it came to paint that held to plastic. Help?

SWEET!

I'm not the pro, but Krylon Fusion is the way to go. They have it at most Ace Hardwares, and I've seen it at Michael's Craft Stores too.

Holy Freaking Crap!!! You're comming! Shweet!!! I thought it was in response to the whole "no homemade issue" Anyway This is good news! amanda says that she'll give you a cookie as long as you keep your darts out of her shirt, this ultimatum goes to everyone, except Falcon, he already violated this rule, and does not get a cookie. Also this is a bit of key info I had yet to place, this war is going to run around standard YANO time frame: 10ish a.m.-5ish P.m.

Falcon Nailed It, I'd suggest you go with Krylon's fusion, but make sure you give it atleas 24 hours of drying time (when fusion's anti-chip agents beging to settle) before you re-assemble the guns just for a little extra durability, sand the plunger shafts before you paint them or don't paint them at all. also you should get some form of a clearcoat on everything just to add on to the durability factor.

Attendance list:

For Sho:

Is there a type of paint I can use with a paint brush, so I can get real detailed if I want?

Daniel is a maybe. Recent issues came up with him. So I'm not sure but most likely. If I can get a bigger vehicle by that time, I might actually pick up one newbie. I figure this'd be a good first war for him, he's young, so play nice.

Anyway, what kind of clear coat finishing stuff should I get? And are there any stincle type stuff you can send me online, or stuff you can tell me where to buy?

Kaiman can't make it (said so in the HQ's thread).

Seijin..."play nice"?

I don't understand. English, please?

It depends. What are you loaning him? If he's running around with a Maverick, then I'll make an exception. Otherwise, I suppose if I'm within 40' I'll draw my SF instead of just pegging the poor guy...

But "play nice"? Seriously...

*sigh*the NERVE...

Here's a couple of my secrets: Use Krylon Triple Thick Clearcoat for a topcoat, it's like spraying on 3 coats of your standard clearcoat. I don't know of a handpaint, but if you don't mind killing some cheap brushes, spray some spray paint into a dixie cup and use it like normal brush paint, i did this on some of my early works for touch-ups. and on the note of Stencels, I use Masking tape only for my Paintjobs. I layer a whole bunch into a sheet like form on top of my self-healing cutting matt, (which I made out of duct tape, and it's about the sizew of a standard letter size paper) Then I go online and download the image I'd like to use, like for example flames, pull them up in photoshop to re-size them, and then cut them out with an x-acto knife right on top of my Masking sheet, then I simply peel out the masks. presto! instant sexflames. On the camo manta job, I used layerable paints that are opaque, and I just made random shapes on a "sheet" of masking tape.

I hope that helps. One week guys!!!
