What's not to read? One of the terms for joining this site is that you must be at least 13 so it's reasonable to assume that you are at least 13.You dicks can't read...
I apologize to the mods if I'm stepping on toes here, I know it's not my place but this one just rubbed me the wrong way.

I'm really in need of money...Know any ideas to make money? Let's say...$20 a week. I'm still too young for a job...
You're asking a pretty stupid question if you think that you're too young for a job. Apart from stealing $20 a week from your mommy's purse, there isn't much you can do without getting a job.
Have you ever thought of selling marijuana?
Or selling your body?
Or getting a job?
(The first two are in jest, but seriously.)
Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

Take old people and their dogs for walks!
Cut Grass, Shovel snow if it suits your climate.
It is not our job to figure this out for you and this isn't the first time this topic has come up.

Wow. Jobs here only accept 16 and up, and I'm 13 years old. I don't know why you're telling me "GET A FUCKING JOB". That's why I posted this. Because I still didn't reach the age limit you dumb asses.
Know how you feel. Had the same problem myself, but it sound like everybody else was creative enough to make jobs for themselves.
I kind of did that. When I was really young, I put flyers in mailboxes saying what I'd be willing to do: Mow lawns, dogsit, vacuum, etc. I ended up dogsitting for $25/week ($5/day).
That family ended up moving, so I went into babysitting, which can pay well depending on who you work for and how often you work. It can, however, be unstable.
Now I work at a hardware store. Free discounts.

Pretty much, the deficit of jobs (a little over 4,000 new unemployees this calender year alone) mixed with the lack of a complete high-school education (only a frosh, even though I am smarter than 79% of the seniors...), all in addition to not having a car leads to the inability for me, personally, to get a job. So, why the fuck are people flaming someone for asking for a job? FLAME THEM FOR LACK OF INFORMATION! Dumbasses...
I like that Gatorade idea in the second or so post. Unfortunalty, last time I saw someone doing that, my school had them forcibly removed. Before the construction of the new facilities for baseball/softball, we used to be able to do that, but now they have concessions stands.
I post once a day...I can't believe I wasted it on this. Oh well, time to re-zero a few rifles (and shop for a few new air rifles)...I'm hoping for an outbreak of squirrels and chipmunks (maybe moles...they are fun) this spring/summer.

Because if the kid is 13 and he wants a job, and he KNOWS that employers are looking for teenagers over the age of 15, the kid has to be creative. He got some positive feedback, and he also got the best feedback of all:
"Do this for yourself."
If you can't think of something for yourself to do at the age of 13, and you think you're mature enough to work, then you can't expect to make it very far in life. Right now, he's showing evidence of being a future lower-class welfare bum. Now, if he's 13, and isn't mature enough for a job, that's fine. The fact that he is 13 and is now asking us for ideas for jobs and is not responding postively to feedback pisses us off.
If he really needs money that bad, and he doesn't have an allowance, like I never did, he needs to start standing up for himself. Mow a fucking lawn. Shovel some fucking driveways. Babysit some fucking neighbours. File some fucking papers for your mom or dad. Tend a garden for a fucking aunt.
I don't care. Think of something. We won't do it for you. You're too young for a job if you can't think of anything constructive to do. Wait until an employer will hire you at the age of 16 or just stop whining.
Get a paper route for christ's sake. They hire 12 year olds.
Can we end this now?
Oh, and the arguement about driving places. I have a job and have been there for 7 months. I walk to work if I need to. Otherwise, I drive my dad's car, or I get a ride from my parents. Theres' always the bus, and there's always a bike. There's even a few of my neighbours. Mature people find mature solutions to problems. So, General, maybe you need to start thinking about growing up too. You say you're smart, but you haven't convinced me of anything.

I disagree. While many people can get jobs, the legal age in some states is 16. Many occupations won't accept anyone below that age because of legal reasons, child labor laws, yata yata.
I got rejected at three jobs I applied to before I turned 16.

That is the point, in one sentence.
Babysit some fucking neighbours.
Ewww. Hope they're not home when you're babysitting.
JUST KIDDING. Every one of BW's suggestions, I did when I was 10 YEARS OLD (except for shoveling snow, we don't have any here)
Get a paper route for christ's sake. They hire 12 year olds.
THAT is the best thing I ever did at age 12. It taught me how to manage money, how to talk to people in public, how to solicit business, how to handle rejection, how to OBEY AUTHORITY (talk crap back to the Circulation Manager and they just find the next ambitious kid), and how to fend for myself in the world. Thank God my mom allowed me to keep the money for my fun things, and I also gave some to the household to make ends meet. I did that until my Junior year of High School.
I then went to work at McDonalds, but I'll save that for another time. It was the "best and worst" thing I ever did as a young adult.
Mature people find mature solutions to problems.
Can we end this now?
A good thing to keep in mind. And a good idea.
Vicious-V, good luck on the new venture. Water them regularly!
