So, I've finally decided to do it. Make my own FAR. So far I've gotten the barrel, plunger, and a little of the bolt done. Today, since I didn't have the necessaries for completing the bolt, I decided to start on the upper reciever. This is where I encountered trouble.
So, Boltsniper, since it seems as if you never ever answer PMs, I'm putting my question here. Could I get some more precise measurements/pictures of the breech in the upper receiver? The plans are a little hazy on exactly how wide the breech should be. But I figured I should be creative so I went ahead and cut one out that seems pretty good. But then, I have no idea where to put the slot for the shell coming up from the clip. Does it connect directly to the breech? As in just make the breech bigger? Or is it a seperate slot. If it's a seperate slot, I'm not sure if there's room.
Any help would be nice .

That's what I mean. The Q and A form on his site is broken. And I've been following the plans, so that's no help.

Boltsniper's in the process of changing his FAQ form over to a full forum for questions and discussion. It should be going online shortly (or so says his homepage).

Yep. Saw that, and that would explain the absence of function.
I'll see about some pics for you guys tomorrow. Nothing much so far really, but hey, it's progress.

Good luck on your FAR!
By the way, building a far is NOT jumping on the bandwagon.
