not that anyone care but i modded my AT ball blaster to shoot micros. The nice thing is that, because of the way i did it the new barrel can be popped on and off very easily with out air leaking when it's on. I only wrote this because i have seen nothing for the ball blaster. Probably cuz it sucks.

Sounds interesting, although I always have liked ball guns for some reason. They're fun for indoor wars and just for messing around, like for ambushing friends when you're not in a war. What's the range on it and can it still shoot balls if you want?

okay, it can shoot about 50ish feet with a micro and whatever the out of the box distance is for the balls. So yeah it can still shoot balls. I can take a picture of it if there is an intrerst?

I have an interest in it. So is that 50 ft. at an angle, or is that a level shot?

That's 50 feet shooting it straight forword till it hits the ground. I get a picture soon so i can type how to do it.

You have to upload it to a web provider such as brinkster or 100megs or tripod and then link to the image here. Most free providers don't allow hot linking so you can't include the image directly on the page, people have to cut-n-paste the link into their address bar.

Someone with more experience doing this recently can probably offer more help - I've paid for web hosting for years now so my knowledge of free hosts is a bit dated.

You may also have a paid web host that you're unaware of - many ISPs offer 5 or 10 megs of web hosting with dialup or broadband accounts. Check with your ISP if you're unsure.

www.villagephotos.com offers free image hosting, however I'm warning you in advance that they can be extremely sketchy - let's just say they run their servers just about as well as my grandmother drives. When they are working, however, they have some nice services (.jpeg compression, a little bandwidth bar, and the ability to create albums and collections of pictures).

so wait...does it still use the push-pull machanism that we all have come to know and love?And what did you use for the barrel? If it's a working design, some ball guns may be more useful that we thought...

Yeah it still uses the push pull way of shooting. Even though there is no pic, i'm going to explain it anyway. It is a really simple mods. I just got lucky and found how to do it.
I had just reacently moded my second first shot so i had parts of it laying around. I took that goofy looking barral from the first shot and sawed off most of the actual barral part. Then i sanded off those three little prong things that kept the barral on the gun. Once those clip things are off and it is circular, it fit perfectly snug into the frount of the ball blaster. I then just glued a crayola marker the the frount of the sawed off max shot barral. I didn't have any brass or pvc when i was doing this. I bet it good go farther if i did.
Because of the 3 slots where the max shot rocket goes in, the barral can get a little smaller when it is popped into the ball blaster. And because of that ruber ring in the frount of the blaster, no air leaks, even though it is not glued in. You can easily pop of the new barral in less than a second if you want to shoot balls.
