Sorry for so many topics lately but this Spring I have a fair amount of time on my hands and plan to do some seriou modding and such. Yes I have searched and basically found no write up type thing on how make a trigger on an intergration. For example lets say I want to intergrate at2k internals with a BBB. How would I shoot the at2k? Thanks

Keyring on the release valve that you pull.

There are numerous ways. If you're clever, you can make triggers that are more "conventional" in form - e.g. those you press rather than pull. Take a look at most homemades for design ideas. Some integrations have also taken advantage of existing triggers. I'm personally not a fan of the key-rings but, hey, whatever works for you.

In terms of your AT2K + BBB example, there's a front handle on the BBB that's begging for a trigger.

You got that right.

Good. Hope to see the post count drop a bit.

Usually, the reason there's no generic write-up is that integrations are for the most part a very individual, one-off kind of modification. Hence you'd be more likely to see a "how I did mine" article as opposed to "how to do yours" kind of write-up.

For an AT2k, which is a pull type of air release, you can use anything from keyrings, to chains, it really is up to you and what you have available. For my "Toothy" integration (Sawtooth shell, SM 1500 and SecretShot 2 internals), I used fishing swivels. Besides being the only thing handy around, they are (1) flexible and (2) very strong when it comes to tensile (pull) strength. I just drilled a hole in the trigger of the Sawtooth and looped one end through. Other end clipped on to the pull pin of the 1500 airtank. This made it easily removable for servicing. I'll edit a picture in when I get the opportunity. The SS2 was triggered with the stock trigger placed under the Sawtooth's magwell.

There it was, in all it's duct taped glory. It's disassembled, ready to be redone.

In the case of my (now gone) PVC3000 (SM 3000 and SM 1500 integration), I had the 1500 plastered on the side of the 3000, in a well that I cut into the right side. I just used an air restrictor peg as a pin extension, and placed in in fairly close proximity to my trigger finger(s). That one was awkward to fire, but still good to keep everyone away. I miss that one.

Or, like the One Man Clan's famous "Clusterfunk", you could put triggers all over the place and wreak havoc wherever you go.

It's really up to you. You said you have the time, so get crackin' and start making something. There's more than enough "planning" threads out there and not enough "doing" ones.

Good luck!
