Since I am a a avid automobile fan I figured I'd make a car thread. Please post pics if possible.

Here's my car:
Posted Image

It's a 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA clone. It has a numbers matching 390 big block with a Holley 4bbl carb with a C-6 automatic transmission. The engine was bored 30 over and had a mild crank put in. Bucket seats, center console, dual exhaust and it also has the pimp shift-o-matic option.

So post your car... and yes this is a minor dick wagging contest.

EDIT: post only if you have a car or if you are contributing to this topic.

Hey, Shrimpy...

Remember this thread last year?

My rides haven't changed. My subsidy for a new F-150 never made it to negotiations, and I DID bring my Honda from my parent's house over to where I live now, so other than that, it's been my same 4-vehicle quiver.

An '89 Toyota truck,
A '99 Dodge van,
A '91 Ford F-150,
and my golf cart.

Now including our Honda...which I bought new while many of you weren't even born yet.

So the dealy with your dad's Mustang didn't pan out? No worry...I'd take that Fairlane any day over a Mustang. Not about speed, it's about cool. Find yourself some GT wheels and you'd have a classic muscle sedan that reeks of class. And...if you choose, those big-block Fairlanes can be made to hurry down the 1/4 with a little work.

No dick-wag for me...but I'll snap a pic of my fleet.

Yeah my dad decided not to share... oh well and it just so happens that this thing is way faster than his. for awhile now I've been looking for a 66 or 67 Fairlane or Comet and had no luck. I finally stumbled upon this one in a local newspaper and easily exceeded my expectations. It does have GT rims on it , but I'm saving up for a set of torque thrust II's.

Are torque thrusts golf clubs? If they aren't then sorry but I thought I've heard of them beforew. Anyways I golf a lot too. It is very fun to play but not too fun to watch..

Capable of doing a mile in under two minutes. Yeah...
Goes 0-20mph in 14 seconds on an airstrip. It also has high-end torque, as well, since it accelerates 20-30mph in 32 seconds. I will probably be getting a TT/Tri bike this summer, which is capable of 0-20 in 10sec with 20-35 in all of 30sec. It maxes out at around 41mph on flat, level surfaces. Planned upgrades for the Hardrock include recovering the original (not that Giant road) saddle, new drive, new bearings all around, new peddles (platforms), new stem, and maybe new grips, in that order.

I will be getting pics of my old car, my motorcycle, and my moped up tomorrow or later.

Edit: I put one minute instead of two minutes for that mile time. I wish I could do that in less than a minute...right now I'm only at around 1:52 with the pictured bike and 1:35 with the TT/Tri bike. Those were as of almost a year ago, however.

You bes be putting up those pics of your automobile cause this is a automoblie thread not a bicycle thread. I will slap you... i'm just keeding!

EDIT: yes I know kidding is kidding but you can't say I'm just kidding you have to say I'm just keeeeeding! in a strong accent of your choice.

Please don't let this topic turn into that other one.

This isn't a very good discussion. You're just lucky Merlinski isn't around here anymore.

My ride is one hell of a looker...

In all honesty, the reason I didn't post a pic of my actual ride, is exactly the opposite. It's pretty bland. A white Nissan Altima. But I <3's it...

Just as a suggestion Rambo, you might want to watch how and when you post. We have a lot of people running around here with new powers, that I am sure they wouldn't mind using. Especially when you have claimed to be "getting out of nerf." Or am I mistaken on that one? Consider this a fair warning buddy.

My car is an '85 Mercury Grand Marquise. It has the original engine in it, so it leaks everything. I would call it obso1337. But I do have an awesome bike. It's a '94 model Gary Fisher Sugar 4+. No mods yet, but that's because I love it as it is. And because I can't afford anything.
