Munson, I don't like you. You can't even read a Crossbow mod, then you ask us for help with it, and then yell at someone else for posting something you don't like? Shut up, you don't even know what you're talking about anyway.

You can't use megas out of an old or new-style 1500, although there was a way to make megas in to Laramis on NHQ somewhere a while back, not sure if it's still there. If you don't plan on modding it, like someone else said you can still get them from the Nerf order form, somebody posted it less than a year ago. Otherwise just do the mod on this site and use it that way.

Funny, the six SM 1500s (new version) that I bought in '02 all took yellow/purple micro sized darts. Was I surprised when the old version 1500 I got hold of took fat green Laramis. But...they were all PVC modded in short order so then they took both afterward.

To more accuratley answer the question at hand: As pointed out before the SM 1500 uses Larami darts, which are usually green, though there have been black and yellow versions of the dart. They are about as wide as a mega dart (maybe 1mm thinner) and measure 6.5 cm long with tip. A mega dart is 9.5 cm long. Another key difference is that larami darts don't have a 'collar' on their suction cup tips, ie the tip is flush with the foam. This makes them ideal for using in 1/2" PVC barrels without modifying the dart.
