Yeah um I was bored and my dad found a sm1500 in a garbage can at work....

How do you pump the 1500? Do you have to reach around above the 3B barrel to pump it or did you do some kind of relocation? It looks like you used the cocking motion of the 3B to pump the 1500 but correct me if I'm wrong.

Looks very nice. The 1500 looks a little butchered for my tastes, but whatever needs to be done to get it to work; form follows function.

You have to reach around to the front. And I hat to chop it in half or else it would have just been a sm1.5k taped onto a BBB.

The pump is located in the section above the plunger shaft where a little plastic tube slides inside.

Stick two bolts on either side of the barrel and call it "FrankenGun"...nice job. Is the SM1500 held on with just tape, and is it stable?

The name "Frankenbow" exists, (one of the Jersey guys, I think) so copying that wouldn't be appropriate. The beast is also already taken (seen here on Apollo's back; no it's not just an RF20 with stuff duct taped all over it) and there are probably a number of people out there who have also named their guns "The Beast". So I would probably think that "The Beast" is a bit unoriginal.

However, I hate to inform you, I can't think of anything.

I do like what you've done, though. The 1500 handle looks like it's hard pressed for room to fit your fingers in there to pump it, but you may have small fingers. Who knows. It looks quite nice and clean, for such an inegration as what you've done. If you were cloning evil's Cain or something, there'd be an issue with cleanliness, but this is all original, and the working parts of the integrated gun are still in their original shell, so for what you did, it looks quite clean.

And DAMN are you lucky for your dad to have found an OLD edition 1500 in the garbage...

What sick person would throw something like that away, anyhow?

Pretty cool. Though, I was thinking you could try what Nerf Monkey assumed you did - let the sliding rod pump the SM1500. Or at least change the pump handle on the SM1500 (to allow for easier access to the pump).

How does the trigger for the 1.5k work? It would be cool if you could devise one that can be fired with the front handle/grip.

Is it front-heavy?

A name...... "Orthrus" (the two-headed monster in Greek mythology)....but it sounds way too much like "orifice"...

It looks quite nasty. How well does it work? Do the ranges surpass those of the unmodded BBB? I would call it "The Governator". It's way Arnold. Nice job anyhow.

Pat Metheny is a guitar player. He basically has this one guitar with necks sticking out everywhere possible. This gun reminded me of this guitar. The sad part is that his guitar is named "the thing." I know, not that original. However, I would name is the U.M.G. (ultraly modified gun).

I got a lot of questions to awnser! Anyways, my fingers are small, the pump shaft is inside the sliding-rod shaft, it has Ompa's clip mod done to it, and gets 70'.
The trigger is a maverick plunger with the end chopped off, with the part on the SM1500 trigger that clips onto the pin glued on and a small piece of plastic for the handle.

If yo want it less sloppy, move the pump for the 1500 and put some sort of cover or something around the internals of the 1500. Get rid of the tape. All of it. Take a new picture WITHOUT THE FOOT. Body parts should never be open in a pic unless they need to be. A foot does not need to be, unless you have a gun attached to a boot. That is the only time: to demonstrate firing. Put the turret on the side of the gun, or maybe the bottom with a side-feed mag. Use a trigger made out of a split ring attached to the rod coming out of the back of the valve to fire. There are NF/AT2k integrations with what I am talking about. That way your front handle can have a trigger in it. It will be a bit more comfortable to shoot. Increased comfort is increased accuracy. Now, again, move the weight off the top of the gun. When you hold onto the gun, it should always want to be balanced so that the bottom will always be down. Low center of gravity. Paint the whole thing. Get rid of the rubber bands. They are stretched without having something behind them That is bad. With the gun on the bottom and the pump on the side, the rest of that case is almost pointless. All you need is what holds the valve to the barrel assembly. That should reduce the forward weight a little.

Do not name it until you fix it. I recommend what I said.

That is a sick intergration. I don't think it looks that bad at all. I like where you put the sm 1500, and nice clip for your BBB.
