Seeing as I live where everyone has a neighbor with cows/horses, there's no reason for indoor wars. Outdoor wars I try to go double PC, double LnL, which usually owns because everyone underestimates the ranges you can get with a PC. When there's limited ammo I just use the Titan/Mav combo. -Jabs

I guarantee your home depot has safety eyewear. Ask a sales rep.

If they don't, check all other hardware stores. Then, check sports stores (raquetball glasses)

(A little off topic, but I figured I should say it)
It's slightly difficult to say what I use now because I just changed the way I play my wars. They used to be ten hit. I just realized that ten hits was what made Nerfing for me so tedious (hard to keep track of hits, easy to cheat, uses lots of ammo, lasts too long, and then it takes hours to make the darts again.). Now it's only one hit, like in paintball, which I've just started playing. I'm sure most of you use one hit most of the time.

Anyway, for my previous wars I've been using this stuff:

Outdoors:
Incomplete Getsurei (Crossbow with a brass removable barrel, super re-inforced internals (carbon fiber composite supported plunger shaft, solid aluminum angle supported spring compression wall, bolts through both sides of the casing behind the aluminum).

Nautilus Magnum (Old Red X blaster I made a long time ago. It's just blue now. 4 barrel AT2K, essentially)

Nite Finder with the ammo holder chopped off. Has a removable brass barrel.

Indoors:
Never played indoor, but I'm sure I'd stick with the Nite Finder.

Primary: Supermaxx1500 (quad 7" nested brass)
Secondary: NiteFinder (single 4" brass ppk mod)
If I can't hit them once in five shots, I don't deserve to hit them at all.

Well, I tested my SOBR with an unweighted peice of FBR. It shoots. It shoots with the only noise of a "pop" and nothing else. It reminds me of a suppressed real-steel rifle shooting with super-sonics, where the projectile still creates a shockwave due to breaking the sound barrier. So, all I have to do is some slight muzzle modification...

Anyway, now, I have a mini-arsenal, including what I borrow from the KAF.

Indoor:
-Mav
-NF (sometimes dual)
-SOBR (in about a day or so...just need to make it mroe airtight)

Outdoor:
-Mav
-NF
-LBB (sometimes...soon to be suppressed and scoped, along with CPVC'd)
-SOBR (soon...see "Indoor")

If I can't hit them once in five shots, I don't deserve to hit them at all.

*claps*

*cries*

That is the best mindset I've ever heard. Bravo!

I'm kinda at a crossroads with my Nerfing arsenal. I haven't quite gotten my Crossbow (Ascendant) up to par for outdoor wars (it gets 70 ft; solid, but not what I'd like), so if I Nerfed right now, I'd still use my PC. That said, my PC (Vindicator) is my current primary, along with an LnL (no clever name yet) as a sidearm. I would use two LnL's, but one is permanently busted (trigger no longer catches on the plunger shaft due to shell damage). I'm very good with my PC, it will be a huge change of tactics for me to switch to the Crossbow when I finally do. I carry a large ammo pouch with an extra clip and rounds for the LnL, and I carry extra darts for the PC in a cargo pocket (I wear camo pants when Nerfing) I'd use this loadout for both indoor and outdoor wars.

I just had my first nerf war today; it was outdoor.

I used my Wildfire (without air restrictors) as my primary,
and
My Secret Shot 1, crayola barrelled and banded.

VERY nubish and not too effective, but It worked as all of my friends are even nubier than me.

And Oompa, what happened to the near? That thread sort of disappeared, and I was REALLY looking foreward to seeing the finished product...
