Were you trying to reinforce the plunger rod? In that case I'd say get the hot glue out of it (if you can) and put some metal rods on there.

From Rawray7's Crossbow mod. If that's what you were doing, you're going to need a lot more than hot glue.

Otherwise, why would you put hot glue in the plunger rod?

EDIT: If the hot glue is interfering with the way the gun cocks, you must've put it on reall thick, did you? Try putting it in the freezer for a while to chill the hot glue and then it will break off, hopefully. Then do the reinforcement mod in Rawray's writeup.

Yes, use a hair dryer. Believe me...It works perfectly. I always do it when I mess up on my mods, and it always works. Give it a try..... (this is to remove the hot glue)

Edit: 100th Post!! yay

Just hotglue wont reinforce it too much. Your problem is that you put too much hotglue on it and it's getting caught upon the sides. Try to remove a layer or two and it should work fine again.

I boil water and then pour it on the hot glue it works perfectly but takes a while. No repercussions in any of my guns thus far.

Guys, you realize that the spot that the plunger slides through has a small thing in the middle. Look at Rawray's mod again, specifically at the picture of where the plunger slides, directly behind the catch. Saw out that middle part, and you can fill the plunger sides in with all the glue you want.
