I was taking a look at the homemade designs in NH and found Unkowns Breech Barrel. I thought 'Hey, that looks easy to do, and I have the supplies right at hand too.' So I started making one. But half way through (I had cut out the rectangle from the 1" PVC) I thought 'HOw is the dart going to get in the 1/2" PVC if they are both on the foam?

EDIT: the Diagram got messed up.

The Dart is running into the 1/2" PVC pipe in the 1" PVC. Am I missing something obvious?

I meant just the breech, I don't think hen has any gun attached to it or anything. My friends have pulled off NF's before at school though.

Im in the process of making a breech like this, and to clearify things up:
First you need to cut a hole in the foam lining. Then all you need to do is pull up the 1/2 inch barrel and put your dart through the breech. Then slide the barrel back down so it slides right over your dart into a nice secure firing position. I hoped this helped, if I missed anything, please notify me. Thanks! Hoped it helped.

I've made an unknown breach, so here is my advise. Sand or file down the first inch or two of the inside of the rear of 1/2 PCV barrel on a slight angle. The idea is to make it easier for the back end of the barrel to slide over the darts so that it doesn't catch on the wall of the PVC.

Thanks J_Cobbers. I'll do that. That's what I kept running into, my dart was catching on the PVC. Thanks for the tips ^_^
