This is the latest improvement for the KISS mini, the KISS carbine. Like the hopper addition, this can be done to any KISS mini, because it keeps all the original parts. It's also completely removable. The only change made to the pistol at all is one hole for a single screw to hold the stock on. This could be replaced by using a thumbscrew tapped into the stock only, but I went with simplicity and reliability for this one.

The bolt action is very smooth, with an even and rather easy pull. It actually improves ROF quite a bit, because you no longer have to stick the pull ring back into the rear of the gun.

I realize that the stock is quite a bit longer than all the rest of the gun. This makes it look a little goofy. So what.

The gun is 27" long total.

Makes it have the resemblence of a Russian SMG.

I missed a lot of the KISS. Time to go read everything in DB's sig...

Very nice addition. I'd say the stock looks outsize right now partly because it's still white. Anyway, any perception of "goofy" goes away when something is so purely functional. Nice job solving the ring replacement you mentioned in the other writeup.

Does the bolt move back forward before you fire, or is it a single draw?

The stock is quite big, but the gun is very comfortable that way. I would have already painted it, but it's too cold right now for the paint to stick well. It will look better then.

The bolt flies forward if I forget to re-notch it, but my hand has to go back forward anyway, so I almost never leave it back.

I've found that it's rather awkward to cock normal bolt-action style, but if I use it underhand, it's quite comfortable.
