I was trying to build my nerf rifle as many of you helped me with, but it turns out, I need a new supplier...in otherwords it broke. So in the meantime to settle my OVERLY EXCITED homemaking mind I need to build a nerf shotgun, now because Im completely lost, does anyone know maybe a good model I could start out with, anyone know of an actual nerf or bb shotgun I could mod into a good nerf gun? PLEASE HELP AS I NEED TO BUILD.

If you're looking for something to buy and work on, take a while and go through the Modifications page. There's a lot of guns (both Nerf and not) that people have bought and improved. If you're looking to build one from scratch, you want to be in the Homemades section. Once again, read through the back posts and see what you can find....I got my ideas by doing a lot of reading, and seeing what others had already done.

Homemades are pretty individual to the builder. Someone can give you a suggestion as to a part or design, but it all depends upon what you can find to build with.

To expand upon Carbon's reply, there are over 6000 posts in the Homemades section. I'd suggest reading them before you create any more threads. We're not all sitting around waiting to help someone who needs to be spoon fed. If you're going to be successful making homemades you have to have at least some degree of engineering skill. The fact that you're asking these questions suggests that you probably don't.

I'm not trying to discourage you, just trying to get you to do some work for yourself.

Ok thanks, I guess Ill just go look at the mods but Im jsut desperate for a quick and powerful gun, Im new to the site but not the engineering and structure of the guns. But I do understand that this is less then even semi-homemade so I apologize.

Go to boltsniper.com and build the white pistol he said it was the fastest to build I think.

Combine the SNAP and the writeup I gave on a variant of Boltsniper's plunger, sized to fit inside a SNAP body. You get the light plunger of Boltsniper, with the large volume of the SNAP, as well as the extremely simple trigger mech of the SNAP.

I have to check out your plunger, ompa, and compare it to mine now that I've made it with thinwall PVC. I think some range tests might be in order...
