I was telling my friend how to mod his nerf gun.But he decided to strech his little spring above the big one. Is there any way to shrink it or can a mavrick just go without the spring.

Just go to Ace Hardware or Home Depot and pick up a similar spring. Hell, you could probably use a rubber band.

You don't NEED the spring, it's just nicer to have it because it returns the slide to its original position.

OMC, he's got 2 posts so far. Give him 10, then we'll see what's necessary.

I modded my friend's and we left it out. He actually likes it better cause the moving mechanism looks cool.
