I'm right on the border of doing this to my maverick, and would like input. Did you for sure see increased ranges and velocity? Can you still use stock darts?

I see the actual mod all over the net, but very few comments on it. One post said you could only shoot stefans (? There must be a way to change this..), and another just threw out some nice looking numbers...

You can only use what works for your own darts best. Stock micros dont fit in the CPVC I have acess to. You need to take your ammo out and do some test fitting before you do anything.

I also agree.

Also, without creating a better seal between the plunger and the turret, any range gained with using cpvc will probably be missed. I've done the cpvc mod, and the turret is in such an unhappy balance that it's tough to see any improvement.

Ok I did this mod and some range tests and this is what I got for far ranges
Stock Mav:
30 feet-flat=stock micros
40 feet-angled=stock micros
NA=stefans
restrictors removed
44feet-flat=stock micros
49 feet-angled=stock micros
41 feet-flat stefans
45 feet-angled=stefans
CPVC replacement
31 feet-flat=stock micros
51 feet-angled=stock micros
47 feet-flat=stefans
74 feet-angled=stefans

Are those ranges an average or just single shots?

Those are the high ranges of like 3 darts but it might have been slightly off due to the barrels being different but I still think its valid.
