Well, there's a CRAPLOAD of wars happening this spring/summer in So Cal.

April YANO looks to be at Cullen Elementary. CAFF, as usual, will be there too.

Seems like just about everything's going to be there this summer.

Who cares. The Neighbors will get over it.

Anyway, I'm not making too big a deal about this, but on Memorial day (it's a monday, but we all have school/work off (or should) so we shouldn't have any problems. This is one of the few wars that we don't really base around people's schedules. As long as my group can go, life is good...

Pretty shallow, no? Not really...

Again, I'm not making a huge deal out of planning this, especially since there's so much goin on in So-Cal this Spring/summer in the wonderful world of Nerf...

Come if you can. Fill us in if you'll be making it. I'll put up any updates that occur. If enough people say that another date close to Memorial day would work better for them, then we'll move. Just bear in mind that the saturday and sunday before memorial day I have the Pomona Scottish games, so that's not gonna happen... Plus, I told Seijin that we'd try to be sure he and Daniel could make it to CAFF or something, so no wednesdays and no sundays. Fair enough?

And if you don't know what CAFF stands for, you live in a hole.

I actually can't because the pipe band's performing at the scottish games that greg mentioned. So I have to be there. heh, so many things going on that weekend. Oh well.

The pomona games are always memorial day weekend. Which typically places us at home that whole weekend just about every year. Nice how that works out, no?

Well, memorial day is may 29th, so yeah.

If there's a severe issue, we'll look into that. But this isn't expected to be huge. So whatever.

My birthday is on May 28th and given the fact that I'll likely be recovering from the ricockulous "Happy Birthday" orgy the night before......I probably won't be there.

Hmmm...well, since you're approximately 2 minutes from Venado, it won't take long to find the nearest police-surrounded house in the area.

If it ends up being another Knights vs. Narf thing, I won't mind.

It'll probably end up simply being an Armageddon warm-up for the locals. But again, all are welcome.

If we have Spring CAFF in May, there’s going to be a month between CAFF and when Armageddon is. If we’re going to have a month off, I’d prefer to have it two months before Armageddon, and have a war in June, leading into ‘Geddon.

So drop the 29th of May.

What dates in June work for people? Remember, we’re only looking at Saturdays.

To start with, the weekend of June 10 does not work.

Your a good man Falcon. Now, the WHOLE week after the 10th doesn't work either even up to the 17. I'll be up north having the GREATEST time of my life (Enough said). However the 24th, is much more preferable.

PS. Wouldn't that mean, ONLY a about a month till 'geddon?

You're a good man too. A week after a honeymoon, and you're STILL hoping to make it to a nerf war...a married man. Yet another to add to the list. Give it 4 years and I'll join 'ya.

Speaking of being a good man, what church are you going to be youth pastoring in SD? I'll be attending Point Loma Naz. Univ next fall. They've got morning chapel ~3x/week, but that doesn't cover me for sunday mornings.

Whatever date you pick is most likely much better for most of my crew, we'll all be on vacation, so hopefully we'll get a better turnout. (yes, I know I'm dreaming...)

Why can't we keep it on the same day, and just add a warmup for the Black Knights any day that we can the month before?

Because on the current date, Cxwq, Spoon, Seijin, Daniel, and a whole whorde of other people can't make it. It'd just be (yet another) Knights vs. Narf War. So we'll have a clan skirmish in may or something to keep up in relatively good shape. If we really have to...

I'd say we really have to. Besides, even if we really didn't, the more the merrier. I know you want to Nerf as much as possible, and the expense isn't as much now that you're not supplying our darts. =) What ever. I'll just keep an eye on here for when it ends up being held.

My schedule as of now stands as thus:
3rd-state DM comp, no pretty much a no go
10th- band banquet, so maybe in the morning, but that would be cutting it close, or my (and yours, Falcon) nerfing short
17th- totally free
24th- not positive, but probably totally occupied (this goes for sage as well)

There is my entire schedule for Saturdays in the month of June.

Well, considering your clan's recent attendance factor, it'd be a "Bags+Pixel vs Knights" war.

You up for that? We'll walk, it's okay. And we'll play in the massive CTF area. 16 on 2. Sound good to you? lol...

You can call 'em whatever the hell you like. I never expected to be having two Spring CAFF's this year, but whatever. We could call May 29th another NWC, to differentiate between the two...bags, you got any problems with that?

If I take the may 29th and go all giving it another name thing, I'm gonna host at a different location (not where the last one was though) just because EVERY other war for the next three months is going to be at cullen, and no matter how much that urban area rocks, we need something different every now an then. so once I pin down a loc I'll post up a thread devoted to it.
