just like the description says...how do you get the pivot cap off on the Max shot so you can unscrew that screw?

You can simply wedge a flat-head screwdriver in the edge of the blue cap and pull it out. It just has two tabs on the side of it which hold it in place, but those don't prove to provide a challenge to pull out the cap. You can then replace the cap once you are done with opening the gun.

Argh. No you don't have to replace it, it's purely cosmetic. Just pry the fucker off.

OK, thanks...but I already did the mod...umm its awsome. I used a different way then Nerfhaven and It works awsome. All I did was take off the orange front and jam a 1/2 PVC 6" schedule 40 with coupler at end(to gain velocty for 2 inches before affected by air currents) and its awsome...Ive only so far shot it inside my house...so the longest Ive shot it flat was about 80 feet...and the accuracy is amazing...Im so glad I traded in my broken AT3K for this thing...Wonder if I can use it well on my a-storm w/ missles it came with:) I am planning on getting 1 or 2 more to drool at...
