Anyone in New York wanna have a nerf war sometime in the summer? (I would post this in the other New York thread, but that ones ancient, and i wanna host my own ) It probably be sometime in July at a school near me that has great foliage/urban cross for good nerfing. I would already have ~10 people from my clan. BTW I live in westchester, right outside the city.

I live in syracuse also. I live near Mav Master and we're in the same clan. We're trying to get more people in our clan. Hopefully We will be able to come some time soon this summer.

I live in westchester, about 45mins from the city on a good drive. I would deffinately be up for a war if we could get a good one going.

I can get some NJ guys together, but someone who lives in NY has to find a place to host. Let us know, we are itching to get out on the field again.

I have some cousins in Bingimpton if we wanted near there. There is also great terrain there for a nerf war.(they won't particapate but my clan could stay there)

I live in Yorktown, I think I've had a track meet against you guys, don't really remember. You are only 30mins away or so, depending on how big your wars are I really wouldn't mind stopping by. Oh and what are the ages of your guys and how many?

14, some of us are turning 15 soon. We usually have about 10-12 people. I've been to Yorktown for freshmen football. (Yeah six and oh this year!!!!)

That sounds really good, when it gets warmer I would love to stop by for a war. Not sure how many I would be able to bring with me though. I have plenty of guns that I could possibly lend out depending on how trustable your guys are, I've had some 1500's broken by my friends and its really annoying.

alright, i'm in Z80's clan, so first of all, you can direct questions to me if Z80's not around. but we're in larchmont just so you know, a bit north of the city, 30 min on average. i think that late june would be more likely, because more people are likely to be around still, and the heat won't be as brutal. a war in our usual site would be great, because its big enough that there could be teams of 15 and it would still be spread out.

we all have guns, but if we need any if ours break, then i assure all of you that we're trustworthy and honest, and we wouldn't break your guns anyway.

just for an idea of the variety we use, we have:

(1) blastbazooka
(1) BBB
(2) mavericks
(4+) NF's
(2) AT2K's

and more to come. one of us will probably be getting a rototrack, i may get my cousin's PC, and I expect to get a maverick, eventually, and when it comes out, the longshot.

and we have at least one girl in our clan, and we accept anyone that enjoys nerf-ing

*EDIT* Z80 and I have the more modified guns, but i like mine simple. i crayola barreled my AT2K, but left the old barrels on, and the crayolas are removable, along with the pvc i jam over those barrels. there are losing spots should anyone want to know,along with 2 jungle gyms, and there are two ways to get into each base, one of which is difficult to detect in dark conditions, making it great for sneak attacks at an enemy base. rapid fire weapons are welcome, (we don't have any, yet) and are encouraged, because they are what break the tension in wars filled with high-powered, slow ROF blasters.

Mike, we have way more than two mavericks. I have one, kenji has one, Jon has one, ryan has 2 and eddy has one. We also have two dart tags, and like three or four fireflies. We also have two blowguns, one Bowgun (mine) and a supersoaker homemade. BTW, we probably will have like an all homemade miniwar, since we don't allow homemades in our regular wars.

Alright well I was talking to my brother and he would want to war with you guys once this semester at college is over with. You guys are only around 30-40 mins away so I'm sure even on some random weekends I could just stop by for a war.

Gun wise we don't have anything seriously powerful. I think one of our strongest guns is our Maxshot or the quad barreled AT2k. I might use my BBB though I usually end up with my dual NFs at some point. About the homemade mini war we don't have any homemades so I wouldn't have much of an interest in that. If we get a good organized war going this could be pretty sweet.

I don't think we could have it too far north of us, b/c, then we wouldn't be hosting it. we just wanted to have a war beyond our own group of nerfers. don't forget, we can't drive either.

sorry al, but ryan doesn't count :-| but yeah we've got a bunch of fireflies, and z80 and i share a DTB set, but mine has some unidentified problem. homemades will not be disqualified, but must pass an inspection. i'd say that roughly, if a homemade exeeds the strength of a modded AT2K (about 80') than it will not be allowed. but keep in mind that you must wear eye protection,

The way I see it this isn't going to be a war thread for all you upstate guys. z80 and his clan aren't far from me and I figure if he is going to have a war I would gladly join in. Just tell me when we are ready to plan this thing.

For the date, I was thinking June 24th, which is the Saturday after our school gets out for summer. Would that be alright with the people coming? Be free to bring anyone you want Leftnut. The tentative time is 3-6 with dinner after. In the way of food, we'll probably order chinese food or pizza. Or we could go to the dinner next to the "battle feild." We'll either pick teams or do visitors versus home team. Oh, and rotary, I think homemades wont be allowed unless it is a pistol type weapon or a blowgun, but we'll see. And eye protection is mandatory, sunglasses, if used, have to be wrap around. I'll bring extra protection just incase someone forgets or something.

If you want to have a big war at that time it sounds good but usually they are longer and start earlier. Like usually 11 - 5 or so with a lunch break in the middle. Oh and if you guys have just wars on random weekends when it gets warmer I would be glad to stop by for some. You guys are only 30 minutes away or so.

june 24 is almost definite, and surely sunday the 25 could be a good raincheck date. if you have a homemade, if we are even going to think about considering allowing it, then I would suggest sending us a picture or two, and tell us what it is, its ranges, intended use (shotgun, snip3r, asault rifle, pistol, or other)

keep in mind that a homemade shotgun is almost definately not allowed, so don't bring it if you have. homemade snip3rs are also banned, and titans and supermaxx's might be too. z80 and I will come up with a list of apropriate blasters, and if there is anything we haven't mentioned, then feel free to post the blaster that you'd like to bring.

if you want, you all can suggest game types, like zombie, defense-offense, and other unique gametypes that you play in your clan.

our clan consists of about 15-20 people, including at least one girl (not that it should matter though.) and generally have a turnout of about 13 or so at monthly wars, and 7 or so at weekly wars. since this is a larger scale war, more of us will come, one way or another .

I'm thinking that this could be one of up to 4 wars in the summer, this one, one in the middle of the summer (which I might not be fortunate enough to attend) and two before school starts again, on the last weekend of august, and the first day of september.

we could have wars during the longer breaks in the school year, but that's off topic, somewhat.

Mike, I think shotguns might be allowed, since there's no real way to mod a gun for shotgunning and its not dangerous or anything. As I've said, the time is tentative, and we could also order new china.

Al, a homemade shotgun. I'm not sure that a shot gun that shoots custom ammo more than 30' is really fair. by all means, dual barrel NF's and the like are fine. but something ridiculous like robby's homemade is absolutely banned.

may not be entirely homemade, for safety purposes, as one of our clan members stupidly didn't bring eye protection, and. . .

like I said, send pictures and specs of homemades, if you can, and z80 and I will discuss if it is allowed asap.
