A Package, for me? What could that be...

Posted Image
Oh my god, it is a BBB!

Posted Image
Gotta love eBay. You find everything there.

Posted Image
Next I made sure everything was inside.

Posted Image
Hhmm, Hyper Sight. This must be one of the older BBB's.

Posted Image
The bow arms are like googles: they do nothing.

Posted Image
Posted Image
Next I cut off the scope thingie and the second handle.

Posted Image
Gonna use that for another SM750 maybe...

Posted Image
I had to put a net inside on the barrel, otherwise the darts fall down and get smashed by the plunger.

Duh', picture limit.

I also hot-glued some foam on the plunger to silence the noise a little.

Posted Image
Next I hot-glued a piece of an old jean to the bottom, for a better grip.

The final result:

Ranges are around 65 feet.

And what is with that scary kid?

Nice mod. A couple questions, does the foam on the tip of the plunger silence the gun that well and is it a pain in the ass to cock after you cut the front handel off??I suggest you also lenghen the barrel.

It does silence it a little, at least the noise doesn't piss my parents off anymore.

Is it a pain in the ass to cock after you cut the front handel off?

It's not a problem to cock it because of the jeans cloth.

I suggest you also lenghen the barrel.

Maybe I'll take a longer barrel, until then I'll stay with it.

That might sound weird now, but the answer is both.
I pull it back and push the the handle forward.

Very nice mod. I've been trying to get my friend to let me mod his BBB for a while. It took a while just to let me cut the bow things off. Are you going to paint yours?

Probably not, although an orange color instead of the purple would be nice.

Make it a little longer barrel and you should get range around 72ish. Nice Mod.

looks like a shotgun now. if i wasn't going to buy a longshot, i might consider buying one of these and doing this mod. great job.

oh, and the second sight is important, because it makes it so that if you see through both, you're looking straight forward. its like connecting two points to create a straight line. this isn't necessary, but i would suggest putting it back on.

It works better without the scope for me.

And as I already replied to Nerfster, maybe I'll use a longer barrel, but until then it stays as it is.

Very nice mod, If I do say so myself. I like the K.I.S.S.-like method of using the Jean to improve grip, rather than the somewhat problematic use of Plasti-Dip is very cool, and I like the overall look of it with the shorter barrel, despite the lessened ranges.

I think the sight looks awesome. With a little practice, you can actually use it, too.

Instead of making a new topic I thought it is probably better to post this here.

Last night I experimented with what I could do with the handle and found the Nitro-Quad.

Ranges are around 60 feet.

Wow...

Actually, that thing deserves it's own thread. BBB front handle on a NitroQuad? That's creative! And looks great too!

Geez. I have neither a BBB nor a NitroQuad.

That looks pretty badass.

Cripes almighty!

Did you use a Dremel to cut out the trigger hole for the BBB/NQ? The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was the LnL. And 60 foot ranges? That's fucking intense. Had I a NQ, I would love to duplicate this. Very nice integration.

Your BBB turned out well too. I like the idea for jean fabric up front. I was debating on removing my front handle, but that answered my quandary, seeing how clean your's turned out.

As said before, excellent write-up. I look forward to see more mods coming from you.

First of all, thanks for the feedback guys! I'll PM CX about it today.

Did you use a Dremel to cut out the trigger hole for the BBB/NQ?

Yes I did, I'm not modding anything without my dremel nowadays.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was the LnL.

I noticed that similarity too, it guess it's the handle.
