I've dug around, and it seems that the answer is no. I'd like to play around with it without having to destroy the stock barrel. At first I was doubtful that Hasbro would create their own threading for this, but after looking around at Lowe's, it seems they have.

Has anyone found anything? Couldn't find a size for it. I know most people attach odds and ends INTO the stock barrel, but I'd rather not mess with it...

No need to "destroy" the stock barrel. Drilling out the restrictors in the front of it increases power and allows for access to front of the air chamber, allowing a coupler to be fit on INSIDE the stock barrel to attach alternate barrels. These barrels canbe easily removed for use of the stock barrel, without any screwing/unscrewing needed.

ompa, he might have the old version Titan. I recieved a titan valve out of the casing from Sinfil because the valve was bad on it (which I fixed) and the barrel was unable to be removed without cutting it.

I got another that was bought about 3 months after the release of the N-strike unity and it screwed off.

This defective one was bought right when th eset came out. When did yours come out?

I got mine as soon as I could get my grubby hands on it; I remember because I tried to post write-ups as fast as I could. So I'm pretty sure I got it less than a week after it hit Wisconsin.

When I modded my friend’s Titan I keep used the Stock barrel and glued the new barrel inside it to keep the ability to un-screw it and breach load it. But this didn't work for long since the threading on the Stock barrel is weak and will break over time/use, so now it is firmly screwed in with superglue. I don't think you can find a coupler that fits with threads since it is in the middle of the different sizes of CPVC and PVC.

I THINK I have the new one...? The stock barrel screws on and off.

Baghead, I saw your thread earlier. Where did you happen to get a second stock barrel? That would do it for me.

It seemed as though the thread was 3/4", but it was coarser than anything I stumbled across.

You are gong to try what I did, but I am telling you over time the threading on the barrel part will wear and break and then you can't screw it on anymore. Plus it takes forever to unscrew, it is quicker to use a plunger to push the darts down the barrel.

Unless you find out how to make an easy quick-release system.
Classic military phrases:

"Retreating?! Heck no, we're just advancing in other direction!"

"Are there any experienced suicide bombers?"

"Any ship can be a minesweeper... once."

"Don't run, you'll only die tired."

I had intended to throw a bolt action clip loading barrel on the sucker, one that I could screw off and still shoot ridiculous missles in place of.

Edit:
Baghead, did you get the extra barrel from another gun or some other way?

Ok, I hope this doesn't count as double-posting.

I did it. I found my .5" brass, about oh, 8" of it, and cut out a slot so I could breech load. Then found a 4" piece of the next size up, 17/32nd's, to slide right over it.

Dremeled out all the air restrictions, and I was trying to find a way to mount the brass in the gun, when on a whim, I tried some tubing I have for my aquarium. PERFECT. Brass fit perfectly in it, and with a bead of glue, it fit FINE in the gun. So now I have an airtight brass barrel in my gun, ready to adopt to a clip. All I have to do is make one, and add a handle.

Here's a picture. You can see a grey dart in the chamber, and all I'd have to do is slide back the pipe, pump, and fire.

Before I get "noobed," this isn't for wars. I'm in a big Assassin game and I just need to make one hit. I don't care how. I have three or four other guns too

Lots of folks mod their titans so that they don't use the stock barrel anymore, I bought mine from Nerf monkey like half a year ago. try the trading forums i bet someone has an extra one lying around.

With a modded Titan, just to warn you, it's possible you really will be making assassinations if you make very poor stefans.

Alright, well not quite that severe, but a weight flying out of an ill-glued stefan, especially out of a Titan, is a recipe for disaster. So be careful when using that for assassin games, where people aren't always wearing goggles.

Roger that. I already had a weight fly out today, thanks for the warning. I think I might eliminate lead altogether though and just use dabs of glue. Safer, and possibly better too.

But seriously, I'm not worried about overpowering it. I'm going for maximum everything, as I only have to make one shot.

It's a school wide game, played outside of school. Everyone throws in 3 bucks, and winner takes the pot. Split between all survivers at graduation if there is no one winner.

Thanks folks. Right now this gets the best accuracy and range with my Ace Hardware's FBR, with about a 2" dart and weighted with small shot. 1" slugs go far but swing wildly and sometimes drop. I'm going to try longer ones, and heavier ones. I've got plenty of power :P And I'll throw on another 12" of brass.

Later,
Matt
