i said Mav because thats the only one i have on there. Dart tag gun is also pretty good. My question is who the hell would use dual NF for rushing? I could imagine dual weilding mavs is you tied it to your belt to reload.

Some of my friends are very quick at reloading their NFs and prefer using 2 of them for combat and rushing. one of my friends has 2 double barreled NFs B) so I just thought I would put that up there.

What about SFs, Chain Blazers, ArrowStorms and other rapid fire manual weapons?

You are right, I should have added them. Manual weapons are not really my specialty though. B)

I have actually used 2ks and nfs. Sinfil will back me here. I may not have taken many people out, but I able to get them to pay attention to me and get hit by my team mates. Rfs are good too if you can pump them fast enough. PCs are my favorite, except for the need for more clips. Thus making the PC my least favorite. And lastly, integrated guns work wonders with me whether I am rushing or holding position. A LBB duct taped to the side of a RF20 gave me a great win this afternoon with my friends.

I said a rf20. Just because of its rapid rate of fire. But if it was a pistol wars i would have to go with duel nfs. Its is pretty much what kind of war you are in, and if it is inside or out.

Word.

You know, I may just clean up that gun some more, since I said I was, but had gone to other guns. I'm definately going to build another when I find some more rf20's at my local thrift Store. Ive got some dark green and black paint that should look nice on it.

And Rushing, rf20 definately. Currently available, and 20 shots. I've only seen one person miss with all 20. And that was indoors.......on a staircase.........yep.

I thought they were discontinued.

I would!

Duel pistoling is da bomb! For a rushing weapon, you want something with a very high ROF or is able to unleash multiple darts at a time. So the Blastfire, RF20, WF, PC, Lightning Blitz, Hornet, Mad Hornet (maybe), and the Manta Ray would all be great rushing weapons. The Maverick would be pretty good too if you like using pitols.

I'd perfer the RF20 though because that's one of the only guns listed that I've tried. Once you got one of those things loaded, people won't stand a chance

You just said rushing weapons need good ROF. NF dont have especially good ROF.... So you kinda just defeat your own argument... But i would agree with the RF20, if only i could get one. Grrrr.

Double pistoling is more effective for a rush than many of you may think. My buddy is a specialty in this market. I've seen him leap over a cedar hedge to chase 3 guys into a backyard. 2 darts was all it took, they could hit him and ended up running out of ammo.

My votes for guns would be as follows:

#1.) SuperMaxx 1500 - I know it's still my favorite gun and I have attachments to it, but take into account its features. It has great power, so the dart is going to go much quicker. Hence, it's harder to see. And then you have 4 shots in fast succession. You can get a lower-mid ranged shot off with only 1 pump. I've learned to trust that. It's basically the best all-around gun you can get your hands on.
#2.) Splitfire - Here's another pistol rush. Of course, with the extra 2 shots. Add in some wickedly quick volleys, and you've got yourself rushers. It's very mobile too.
#3.) Clip-modded springer (be it BBB, XB, others) - Preferably a BBB for quick cock, when done right, these are lovely tools of foamy death.
#4.) PowerClip - Run at people and empty out a blindingly fast volley. Then run behind a corner, slap a new clip in, and pump on the run. Some of my best wars were with my PC. I do not once regret buying it. Even though it has cost me some trouble, I've been able to build it better than it was before.
#5.) Arrowstorm - Always a classic, this thing will still work magic on the field. Quick shots; basically what your looking for in a rushing gun.

That's my two pence. I'm sure many of you would agree with the choices.

I'm a fan of the Razorbeast as a "squad automatic weapon". I made a box magazine that holds about a 30 round belt of ammo that works wonders. Lays down a nice blanket of fire. Range isn't bad... upwards of 60 some feet.

*blink* that's sad. but as far as the dual RF20's go,are there just two triggers, or one that integrates the two. but yeah, its probably the best along w/ maybe a sawtooth, because of its potential. and RF20's are still out, another plus. an airtech is another idea, because of its combo of great range, and ROF.

Dual pistols are considered rushing weapons because they are light and manuverable. If you are rushing, you shouldnt plan to live for very long. This makes the higher manuverability and great accuracey from a pistol sometimes better than a low range and pretty inaccurate bulky auto.

What about the dual autos for those of you who use 'em? Rushing is only good for capture the flag games anyway, in my opinion.

If you want that RazorBeast to be weighted down even more, you could, just maybe, use an electric motor of about a half horse to get that handle moving. It would then be a bit more accurate, I guess. Belt driven would work pretty good, too, that way it would have a slower rate of fire.

I would personly use a dt gun or a rf20 but who would use dual nf??

I do and I do it pretty effectively. Why bother rushing with a big bulky gun, you make yourself an easy target. I like being able to run back and forth easily making myself harder to hit. Also using two night finders makes it more challenging since everyone else tends to use long range guns.

That's is friggen awsome, Starbuck. Always kind of thought of that idea for the cranking weapons. 60 FT? That's awsome! Geuss the chain guns are not that obsolete after all :D

z80, I did kind of contradict myself with using dual pistols, but I still would consider them great for rushing too since it would be no exception to the idea of using guns with high ROFs or launching multiple darts at a time. With pistols, it would give you more menuverability because they're generally lighter (as argued before) and you get multiple shots. If you have 2 PCs (actaully don't know how big they are) you could duel wield with those, that'd be sweet!

:( !Duel Manta Rays!

I rock the dual wield NFs sometimes. if I know that there will be multiple people close to each other I’ll load them up with somewhere between 6 and 8 mini stefans each. So anyone with in 25 or 30 feet will be hit with a barrage of 16 mini stefans.
