Hmm, Zelda the Minish cap is the best 2D "vidio" game I've ever played. The other Zelda games are always up there. My favorite game would have to be Battlefront 2.

I tried playing Battlefront once, personally, I thought it royaly sucked. I found that it was way too much of a RPG than I like. If you want a really good FPS, I think that you should try playing America's Army.

Although, I'd still have to agree with Illadar.

I guess after reading this I think our younger demographic does not appreciate the pure enjoyment out of 2d vidEo games. Here's a list of some of the best from each nintendo system.

NES-
1. Metroid
2. Legend of Zelda
3. Excitebike

SNES-
1. Zelda Link to the Past
2. Super Mario World (so many good memories from that game)
3. U.N. Squadron, the most under appreciated game from the SNES line.

N64-
1. Goldeneye - no contest
2. Diddy Kong Racing
3. Super Smash Bros
- so many more but not enough space

Gamecube-
1. Super Smash Bros. Melee
2. Star Wars Rogue Squadron II
3. Mario Kart Double Dash

Gameboy original-
1. Super Mario 6 Golden Coins
2. Kirby's Dreamland
3. Donkey Kong

Gameboy Color-
1. Super Mario Bros. Deluxe

I bought a game boy advance but could never really get into the games, plus they were getting more and more expensive. This is just a list of my personal favorite nintendo games. X-box and P2P have their place as well, but in my mind nintendo will always be the best.

I'm sad to see so many console gamers.
PC-only gamers are a dying breed, I guess.

Oh, and Cxwq, what version of Civ? I've played II and III, they're both great games. You should try KOTOR for the PC.

I now actually have a tie for the PS2 after getting this new game. Starwars battlefront II and gundam seed: never ending tomorrow. They are both really good and are based off topics I like.

My favorite is James bond Nightfire.

What an awesome game. I'm always Dominique.

I used to play Battlefield 2 alot, but then I moved onto America's Army. I just think it's a lot more realistic and fun.

I've been playing a lot of Counter Strike recently, that will always be one of my favorites. On consoles I thought Morrowind was amazing and Dragon Quest VIII was awsome along with my favorite RPG, Final Fantasy 8. Please, no need for any "FF7 was way better then FF8" crap.
