I don't think 1/2 PVC is small enough to use in conjunction with the turret. At least not all 4 barrels.

don't have anyexperience with the material, but PETG would probably work better, and brass would be the best, because there is the least friction, which is good in an airpressure (pump) gun, because these guns get a lot of air out, very fast, eliminating the need for pressure to build up quite as much as in a spring gun. :w00t:

Don't tell him to use a certain barel type because that may not work well for him.

Nerfster12345, I'm under the assumption that you use stock micros or mega stefans. 1/2" pvc should work for the stock-micros but If your using mega-stefans that I can't help you, because everyones fbr is different.

1/2 inch works perfectly fine for me, I just use normal pvc... Quad it, single and double barrels don't get a good ROF unless you plan to use a clip or somthing.

It is possible, but not easy to fit four 1/2" PVC barrels on an Airtech 2k turret.

Putting two 1/2" PVC barrels on a turret works well, and unlike most people think, they DO get a pretty god ROF. It's no quadded 2k, but it's pretty good.

You can find a write-up HERE.

On the modifications page, click on "Airtech 2000 - Single-Barreled". It includes the double-barreled variation.

The Random Encounter clan came up with a double barrel 1/2" 40 schd. PVC mod some time ago, which works well I believe if you want to shoot megas stefans. If you want to shoot micro stefans, I'd suggest quad brass or CPVC.

I've just finished modding my At2k with 1/2" CPVC, using 4 6 inch barrels. It works great for me, the power and range is just incredible. One thing I did was after quickly attaching the barrels with hot glue, was to grip them all at the end so they touched at the end. Then I laid down a bead of hot glue along each valley between barrels to further strengthen them, eliminating the need to tape the barrels together. I can shoot either stock darts, or stefans made from 1/2" FBR with no problems.
