What is that thing, is it any good? It looks hard to mod and I doubt anyone has ever seen that thing but try to open it and stretch the spring or maybe even a new 1 inch barrel.

I don't think that will be any good. It is meant for 8 year olds who aren't old enough for hunting. I bet it gets like 20 feet at max.

That barrel extension is a rip-off of the SuperMaXX5000 ball barrel attachment.
It sucked.
Maybe this thing performs better, but I wouldn't count on it. An easy mod that I can see being beneficial is a barrel replacement and maybe a spring stretch/replacement.
It really doesn't look like it's that hard to modify.

Linkage I believe that is the internals of your gun. It doesn't look that bad.

Do you actually have any other Nerf blasters (guns if you're not politically correct), or would this be the first one?
Only reason is, that you'd probably better spend 25 smackers by picking up something like an AirTech 2000 Twin Pack, AirTech 3000 Twin Pack, some NiteFinders, Dart Tag Crossfires, hell, even a Maverick or three.
I'm quite sure that most of us who've been here awhile have tried to modify just about anything to shoot a foam dart. Even Pringles cans.

It's been done. Search. I think the guys name was Silent loser. It could have been on NHQ. Best bet, buy one, mod it and tell everyone how it worked rather then just bringing up the topic.

I have a Crossfire modded and a supermaxx buzzer air bazooka. Im working on but i dont know if the air bazooka i want as my primary so i was curious becouse this gun looks sweet.

I have held this thing. They have one of these Locations in Vaughan, Ontario and it felt like it had some power when I pulled the trigger. The balls may only go like 20 feet but mod it to shoot micros through a barrel and not a shell and your set. The only thing I dont like about it is the price.

Alexthebeast modified it, but he said the range was only about 50' with bad velocity.

yep - I modded it to fire micros - I tried a few things - currently its rocking a chap-stick barrel with brass extension (my own barrel concoction which I'll try to post soon). Gets pretty good range - I'd say over 70ft, level; even more when the barrel extension is on - but I haven't done an official range test]
The blaster is really easy to mod but and has a HUGE plunger. However, the spring is weak and the toy is pretty expensive.

You should replace the spring if the spring isnt that good unless its catch is weak.
