thats when you build it though, if you make a good enough case it would work. It would be completely inpractical though.

There is also water as in those airhogs missile things. They are significantly powerful. I am trying to replicate the one form mythbusters to get about 100 feet and add it to my MassiveAttackVehicle (MAV for short) for an anti-vehicle weapon.

Edit: His version of a railgun would send the BB flying and most likely melt the dart to no existance and as if it was burnt wad of crap in the beginning as it is now. Foam plus straight electricity equals no-go.

Alright, now that we've heard every crazy-ass idea for propelling a dart short of getting God (or Gods, depending on your religion) to smite your enemies with foam, Let's keep the discussion to reasonable methods. Sorry, building a railgun is definately not going to be feasible for the majority of the people here, hence it should not be considered reasonable.

We had our laughs, let's get back on to other methods (if there are even any left).

I have an idea after remembering an old infomative commercial about this cordless vacuum called the shark, in Canada they're sold at CanadianTire, not too sure of any other locations.

Anyways, this vacuum was powerful enough according to tv to be able to suck up bunches of large nuts...(haha I realised how terrible that sounds but whatever its 830 am and have yet to sleep.) So thinking of the negative pressure this must be creating, why not turn the motor around and make it into a positive pressure. Not too sure exactly how much force would be behind the blower but I think it may be worthwhile to check out.

A constant source of somewhat high pressure may be the base for an automatic nerf homemade if it works.

Cordless blowers and vacuums really aren't that great from my experience. A backpack leafblower might have enough power, though.

I think the spining disk(s) is the best solution for full auto.

Well, it would be a waste of water, but using water instead of air in a spring gun would make it more powerful, since no energy would be lost to compressing the water.

How about using some punctuation? Maybe include some capitalization to go along with it? I tolerate idiots much more when they can at least do that for me. For starters, it helps me understand what you are asking.

I already mentioned magnets as well as pressurised water. Both could work but I highly doubt thier very effcient for this application.

Nobody has mentioned gravity power yet. A catapult like device could be used to push a plunger through a plunger tube. Something even simpler could be used, but would require a large weight and a pulley system.
