There are a few mod write-ups here and there.
Check the 3M site, that's the best one I remember. I'm also sure searching through the forums hear will result in a RF20 modification of some description.
As for pumps. don't worry about over pressurising it - it has a built-in over-pressure realease valve. Though I would say about 25 pumps would do it well I think. If you pump it enough, you will hear a leaking/whooshing sound. This isn't a problem, it's simply the over-pressure release valve kicking in. You can pump more, but it won't add any more air into the tank without it escaping again.

The have a mod for the RF20 internals, but it's definitely not for the faint of heart.

Do not yank them out. You'll have to disassemble the gun, remove the turret and drill them out from the back.. You want to leave the base of the pegs intact to maintain a seal between the two halves of the turret. If you take the turret appart and just take out the pegs, bases and all, there gun will not fire properly.

Which actually gives me an idea. What if you had small o-rings the size of the bases for the barrel pegs? I bet those would make an excellent replacement.

Once you have the turret, carefully drill out the X pieces that hold the pegs from the back. That way the bases will remain intact and not have to be removed. Plus this should save you time on the job in general.
