through a freak occourance, i got my hands on the cute little IX-3 scout from the N-Strike 3-pack. love the bugger, at least lokwise, but i'm at a loss as to what modifications i can do besides spring stretching and firing post removal. i'm already working on getting foam for a couple hundred rounds, but just need mod help!

(oh, and did anyone notice the new tech target pistol is a repainted IX-3 scout?)

You could do a spring strech and a barrel replacement. Don't do the peg removal, it doesn't do anything.
Yes, the new tech target pistol is a blue/green scout.

Yes actually, we did.

The search function helps, as well as just looking at recent posts.

Please just use the search function and type in Scout.

Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

I remember hearing from ompa that using the brass may actually screw it up.

Drill out the air restrictor but be careful not to damage the top part that the O-ring wraps around. Doing that had to be the most annoying air restrictor removal ever.

Also I beleive it was LOTR who said pop a tek 6 spring in the gunafter cutting it down. I did it and now it gets 50 feet with asshole darts. The downsisde is that the spring rattles in the case and its kinda annoying. anyone got any suggestions to help against spring rattle?

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

If it is rattling side to side or up and down, you could put some mounting tape inside the case, then cover it with electrical tape.

If you want more power, you can put in a stronger spring.
