My hope is that this website will allow everyone wants information on my guns to easily get it. Currently, I get about 3 questions a day from every possible form of communication. Email, PM, AIM. I even had one person call me. Don`t really know how they got my number. 3 out of every 4 questions I get have already been answered many times before. I hope by setting up this website that everyone should be able to find what they are looking for there. I have set up a page to ask questions. My idea for that page is that if you have a question, ask it in the provided form. I will answer it and post it on that same page. If everyone follows this then that page will become a major database of FAQ's.

Please look at my site and feel free to comment on it. I am still adding content but I wanted to release it as soon as I can. I plan on taking some better video of the guns and replacing the existing lo-res stuff. So look forward to that. I will also update the BS-7 page as I make progress on it.


EDIT: Wow, I`m an idiot and can`t even spell my name in the title of this thread. Someone please fix that....

That Bullpup reminds me of the Pancor Jackhammer, a gun that I recently remembered my friend telling me about. It is the world's only fully automatic shotgun. Revolving casset mag, bulpup design, the setup you've got for the air chamber is alot like the stock...

Looks cool though. And not to be nit-picky or anything, but you might want to go though some time and fix the little spelling and grammer errors scattered about your site. For someone who puts so much time into his work, those misspellings and misplaced words don't reflect properly. Running the site through Word would probably fix most everything.

I created the site with Frontpage which indicated spelling and such as Word does. Unfortunately it doesn`t catch all of it. I know there is a crap load of errors in the text. Eventually I`ll get all of them weeded out.

Nah, leave the typos in there. It'll lead people to believe that your chops are bustable. Then, at just the right moment, in order to gain tactical advantage, you'll demostrate to them then indeed no, your chops are not bustable afterall.

Yeah, the goal was slide action. It never got that far however. In th state it's in you just pull back on the red piece thats attached to the plunger.

The FAR is truly amazing.

I love that Bullpup concept. I'm a big fan of the AUG, and it's great that someone's building a Nerf gun based on its design.

The site topped the 1000 hits mark. Thats about 70 hits a day since it's release. Not bad. I am pleased with how the Q and A page is working out. Most of you seem to be directing your questions thorugh that page and duplicate questions have come down dramatically. Some people I feel are not reading all the previously asked questions before submitting one of their own though....

I am working on a site redesign that will eliminate the frames. Hopefully that will speed up the loading time some and make the site a little easier for some to view. I will make an announcement when the new version is uploaded

This is pretty unrelated to the website, so I'll make it relatively close by saying that it was a good idea making the site and that it looks pretty good. Also, what CAD program are you using?

Might I recommend the high cost of CO2 or some other prepressurized inert gas for the BS-7? Or are you going to run like 110 psi in that little tank and reg it to the valves? I can see that tank being diminished very quickly with two, four shot full auto bursts...

Nice work on all of those things. I've decided not to try and work my own versions of your rifles, like the FAR craze way back when, and do what I am best at: high caliber.

I was thinking one four round cylinder per tank charge. There is a valve behind the cylinder that cuts off gas flow as the cylinder moves rearward reducing gas loss. I have considered using a precharged gas system though. I`ll see what develops as the design progresses.

I mainly use SolidWorks now. I have used Unigraphics and Pro/E in the past and still use them occasionally when required. Everything you see on the site is done in SolidWorks.

Oh, I guess I misread when I was looking at that page on your webstie. That's what I get for speed reading.

High caliber, as in, bores with diameters greater than an inch. My first homemade had a 3/4" PVC barrel, did great. All of my other homemades based on 1/2" PVC failed. Otherwise, my cannon (pl.) work wonderfully. So far I have had two successful cannon, working on a third. I might start buying big FBR so I can use these in a war. Loghelp sells the stuff needed. A weight for the end would probably consist of a nut (umm...safety issue?) or something else really big for an anti-material rifle. Or, cut the stuff up like a Stefan shotgun round. That would be fun. Once I feel like it, I'm going to order some (in 1", 1.5", and maybe 3/4") to test it out.

Wouldn't only having one clip per tank somewhat defeat the purpose of having pre-ready clips?

Well it still takes more time to reload 4 darts than just change the cylinder, even if you do have to pump up the tank again. Compressed air is the only type of propulsion I haven't used yet. That's why initially I slated BS-7 as compressed air powered. The more and more I think about it the more and more I veer from it. I`m actually thinking about building another magfed spring/plunger rifle, so depending on which I get into more...BS-7 might sit on the burner for a while.

What are some of the problems with air pressure, or why do you veer from it the more you think about it? CO2 seems a bit better but has anyone found a cheap simple way to regulate it?
